It's just... a realization that everything I have been through has made me who I am... which sounds like a cliche and stupid thing to realize.

[But it's what others have been through that is causing the real concern. It's not just what he's been through. That was the simple answer, after all. Everyone was shaped by what they went through and at the same time, those events meant nothing because people at their core already had a set sort of personality.]
