The White Legs are no more and the Sorrows have their home again. Daniel may disagree but in the end it was the right thing to do. Again, I offer my thanks to your Courier. She truly was a good neighbour to us. And she was right to stop me at the end.
You are correct though. Daniel truly lost out, no matter what road we chose. But with God's will, we will not need to make such a choice again. And I hope he can come to peace with what has come to pass. The world needs people like Daniel. To balance out the people like me.
And perhaps the legends of the Burned Man will start to fade. However, that may be for the best. Peace, is something I never thought I'd find. It would be nice to experience at some point of my life.
