I'm really grateful that discussion Kronk and I had amused the hell out of you, 'cause you didn't really think of much else for a while. But-

Because it's just one of those things. Stressed out enough you'd grab a beer, well, in my case I grab a Jolt instead.

I dunno how it'd work with me, closest I ever got was a sip I spit out when one of my cousins switched out my cup at a party. [He rolls his eyes. He's still not even sure which cousin it was. One of the hazards of inviting the entire extended family for holidays]

Soda. With a lot of caffeine. Always good for keeping me awake, annoying my brother...[Fen smirks suddenly] Or thinking up new ways to apply my spells to the cause of kicking Celia's ass.

Yeah. It's pretty normal where I come from. [Fen's eyebrows raise as he watches him. Somebody that's maybe scared of him. That's new...and kind of disturbing]

There aren't any class distinctions. We're all the same, it's just that some of us don't need matches to light a fire, y'know? Besides, people rely on the Mages to deal with the monsters and protecting the cities, so. Not that they couldn't just haul out a sword, but it's easier.

[Fen's still lying on the floor laughing, but at least he's trying to calm down. After a few moments he pushes himself up into a sitting position, still grinning]

Hey, I could've always been adopted! [Like he hadn't wondered that from time to time as a kid...until the Dream magic surfaced. That pretty much ruled it out. Kronk's never heard about the birds and the bees? Poor Kronk. Fen's not gonna tell him]

Hah... yeah! [Kronk laughed, even though he really meant that seriously. He'd definitely adopt Fenrir! Even though, well, someone should probably adopt Kronk before he went out and adopted other people.]

[And it was a good thing he didn't know about that stuff yet. Good but kind of sad.] Your chin's not much of a Kronk chin.

[Pictures are now popping up in the Mun's head of Kronk adopting an entire orphanage. The Cute, it's overwhelming]

Naw, it's more like a Jale chin. [Fen tilts his head back and taps it] Take after my great-great-great-granddad's dad. [He rolls his eyes] There's gotta be an easier way to say that.

[That'd be what Kronk would do when he's older and a little wiser. And rich from selling all those spinach puffs! Best orphanage ever... with cookies after every meal?]

Heh, you've got a point. I do well enough without 'em, I guess. I can still swing a sword if I have to, and there's always my magic.

Sure it is, but that's what we have teachers and ethics classes for. You have the right teacher, you don't wander around torching things 'cause you're bored, or 'cause you feel like being a creep.

[Fen would laugh at the idea that he's dangerous. Oh, he can be, but it's not something people actually throw at him. Troublemaker is closer.]

Not saying we don't have people that use magic for all the wrong stuff, but most of us know better.

[He is good at other stuff! He can shoot a slingshot like nobody's business, and perch up in a tree for almost a whole day without falling out, and make his own snowballs in summer! Okay, so they're ice balls, but it's close]

Really? [This comment is going to lead to Fen pulling a strand of hair out of his eyes so he can stare at it, frowning a bit] The red's not too...blood colored? Red hair runs in the family, but not always this shade. I think I had an aunt somewhere once with the same color.

So what's wrong with frizz? Unless you have frizzy hair because you stuck a fork in a light socket, I don't see a problem with it.

[Kronk could...uhh. Talk to chipmunks and bake and run around for miles without getting sleepy!]

I dunno, I don't think it looks like blood. Just looks like it's dark red!

I've never seen red hair before. [Aww, that make Kronk laugh! Even though he didn't know what a light socket was yet, that did cheer him up.] Everyone where I'm from has straight hair, but mine's kinda wavy. I think Yzma likes it tho.

[Talking to chipmunks could be useful, and baking is always good! Fen could use the ability to run for miles without getting sleepy...but he's good at finding places to hide when he can't run, so it's a good trade off]

Kinda looks like blood to me. [Fen shrugs and finally gets up off the floor] Really? My granddad's magic teacher when he was a kid - the granddad way back - she had white hair, and she was only in her twenties. I think somebody cursed her with it, though.

[Fen's not sure how changing someone's hair color from brown to white is supposed to be a curse, but that's what he was told, so.]

Straight, wavy, it's all good. [He makes a bit of a face suddenly] Yzma doesn't like playing with your hair, does she?

[Kronk, on the other hand, was terrible at hiding! He was much too big and loud and clumsy on top of that. But he was very good at baking cakes!]

Everyone I know has black hair and tan skin, just like me... I know some older people that have grey hair though! My papi has grey hair, but he's old. He's almost sixty! [Back then, that was a lot older than it is now. Unless you're Yzma, she was... a gazillion years old.]

Oh...uhh. [Kronk's cheeks colored a bit.] No... she just likes to pinch my arms.

[Cakes are good. And muffins. And scones. His mother makes really good raspberry scones. She should've been a baker]

Sixty's not that old now, I bet Celia lives to be a hundred. [And she'll spend her entire life tormenting him, he's sure. Her and Yzma would probably get along well. Gah]

Oh good. [Fen lets out a sigh of relief] Not good that she pinches you, that's mean, but the hair thing-

So how's Igor been?

[Kronk loved muffins! He made some last week and he gave them to all his new friends too. Kronk always liked to share, even moreso than eating.]

Yzma's even older than that... I think! But, yeah, doesn't pet my hair. [Kronk wouldn't mind being petted, but not by Yzma. He smiled and held Igor up to show him how good he looked!]

I gave him cuddles EVERY day! Careful ones.

Yzma's probably a million. [Seriously, just look at the woman. He grins as Kronk shows off Igor]

[Kronk gave Igor another big cuddle.] He's the best AND the softest! I went to sleep all fast and stuff last night, even with Yzma there. She was all screaming at me because Emperor Kuzco made fun of her...

[Kronk would be very confused if he ever saw a live one! But other than join up with Hades in the Disney World 'Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom' game thing, Yzma never really teamed up with other villains.]

Oh... yeah. She kinda does!

I dunno if you're allowed to scream at Emperor Kuzco. Seems like he'd get angry if you did that! [And Kuzco and Yzma really hated eachother.]
