I cannot condone this act. I have no desire to be left to wander aimlessly when there are many who wish for my assistance. My grandmother will worry if I am gone too long.

If you require me for a specific purpose, I will respond if I am able. Until then, please find other means to occupy your time.

Few truly consider the weight of their actions until it is too late. Even where their decision concerns the fate of another, they allow irrational emotion to cloud their judgement.

Perhaps. Although of course, the consequences of our being here cannot compare to the consequences of the decisions I am normally able to witness.

Must have been some really impulsive decisions then?

[timetodie]

Actually, many hesitate once they learn the true price they must pay...but it is rare that they do not ultimately submit to what they desire. Once presented, the covenant is almost always fulfilled, sooner or later.

If it turns out like that, seems like the 'learning the true price' part just got kind of useless, don't you think?

[timetodie]

Not really. They have an eternity to remember their lesson, after all.
