Ah, my dear mundane.
So we have made the crossing together. You are somewhat tardy in that regard, but you have performed in an exemplary manner in this regard.
Now, I require mental sustenance! Find me something to do, at once.
[He picks up the newspaper, raising an eyebrow briefly]
I require nothing else. Do begin now.

Oh Brett, my fav Sherlock.
Still the best, I say :P
Yes. I do.
no subject
[He says it all as if it's such a burden.]
He'll always be Holmes in my heart.
no subject
Well, detective, that is entirely between you and your ad-hoc deity, isn't it?
no subject
John look slightly stunned underneath his mop-top.]
Now how did you know I were CID?
eeee, jeremy brett. as others have already said
That is very imperious of you. But I am quite confident you will find something to stimulate your great brain, Mr. Holmes, regardless of whether or not it is your writer who acquires it for you.
/grabby hands I love you and him
handsofasoldier from LJ and still adores you
[ Leans over the back of his own chair, arms crossed beneath him. He looks a little weary, but he's eager, as always, to hear accounts of his friend (or close enough) if he's willing. ]
I am so ludicrously happy to see him played.
Thus is the fate to which beings of our intelligence are set, is it not?
[And he's paying very close attention to you.]
Machinery, under the clothing. For purposes I actually cannot divine. Fascinating.
And you are still beyond kickass.
No, but I am to be sent to the Nexus here. Something to do with the mundane's distate with the previous administration of 'the site' as it were.
no subject
A great deal of experience with your ilk, sir.
And I am always pleased to see a well played Irene.
How fascinating. A variant of the woman. Younger, but I suspect no less astute.
no subject
The feelings mutual! I just had to throw him at you when I saw this
Precisely so.
[Oh he's totally used to that and is rather enjoying it really, sitting back to let you figure that out.]
No? That is interesting, considering where it is, positioned on my body, I thought you may have an idea.
no subject
Frequently indeed, sir, though I suspect in ways you do not consider with your statement.
Sherlock Holmes, consulting detective, at your service.
I want to throw all the characters at you. And the bit of me that wants to rp a Tesla is kicking
There is what I suspect, then what I would say were I asked about such. I suspect the world is not ready for what I believe that equipment is for.
It is beyond the ken of modern humanity - and I would wish to inspect it further before I make a conclusive definition. Regardless of the specific purpose, the general purpose - to keep you alive - seems obvious.
The question is what condition, in a more specific sense than the cessation of existence, it prevents.
You're more then happy too! I need to get him out more besides my games. And Tesla is like that xD
And it is indeed, though hardly much more then your time, in when it was produced, this, part of it at least. [He touches his chest before nodding. This is an awful lot like talking to himself, it's refreshing.]
As for what it prevents? Merely old age. More specifically the physical aging of my body. Though, some places you will find, do that on their own.
no subject
Oh: you're an informant.

Doubtful, Miss Adler, doubtful indeed. You will, of course, forgive my highly justified skepticism as to the notion that you serve anybody but yourself.
Well, you're doing a grand job of him - where do you play?
Fascinating. The preventing of old age...it appears the fountain of youth mythology was both correct and incorrect at the same time. [He chuckles, briefly]
I deduce, therefore, that your world - for the existence of multiple realities is undeniable at this point, even to the most capricious of minds - has some rather different parameters than my own. Specifically referring to what one would term the 'supernatural'.
no subject
[Because interpretation can be done by both sides.]
no subject
[But you'll hear no denial from her. She continues her curious assessment of him.]
The Sherlock Holmes I know could take a lesson from you in matters sartorial; I don't think I've ever in my acquaintance with him seen him looking quite so neat.
no subject
Keeping neat means a few less distractions from one's work. Of course, I cannot speak to my methods across the multiverse.
no subject
Thank you! And I play him (or some version) at Paradisa, Distant Skies and Taxon
Again correct, and you are more, understanding of such things as compared to another with abilities as our own. My world does indeed, house beings, that others label supernatural but in my own world are part of the natural order of things.
Just apped another character to Paradisa, actually.
I can only surmise, of course, without direct evidence. I would be lying to say I were not greatly desiring seeing said evidence with my own two eyes.
no subject
A statement I will also not take at face value, if you will forgive me.
Who did you app? I'll grab CR with you one way or another there lol
Indeed, it is difficult to believe such things until you see it for yourself. Unfortunately the only evidence I can offer is my own blood.
no subject
I'm not the one who lives with him; I expect in regards to personally-held views and habits, there is only one expert of note on Sherlock Holmes.
no subject
Indeed you are correct. Now, the question becomes: 'what scheme are you participating in?'
Or perhaps you merely wish to match wits again. If so, I declare that this time, it will result in your imprisonment, Miss Adler.
Jack O'Neill - and I brought a Sam Carter with me :P
