The delight you take in my pain makes me regret any comment involving the phrase "kindred souls".

As for verses, this one where Talia did not survive is unacceptable for many reasons. If you snicker one more time while calling this hiding "licking my wounds" I will find new and inventive ways of inflicting pain. Just for you.

She speaks with some about recovery, from the cannon and who knows what else. I know she stands by the things I've done. Where I go from here depends on so much.

She means to send me somewhere. A game revolving around an internet community, from what I understand.

I'm not sure it is the best. In at least one of her plans I believe I'll be in the Bat's underground lair.

There is one of Gotham's policeman there, the Detective Blake. Beyond that, there is no one.

It would seem we are both destined to have dealings with this Blake. He is who will be in that cave, not the Bat himself.

Ah, but you and I are two very different people. You define your actions by the approval of Talia Al'Ghul. I have met her, and worked in tandem with her and her father, but we were never any more than passing acquaintances.

I am a self-made man. I dragged myself out of Hell on Earth with nothing but my own strength, cunning, and intellect. I broke down the Bat, deduced his identity, and ruled Gotham for my own pleasure.

In a way, to call yourself Bane is an insult to me. I was the first; the definition. You are nothing more than a glorified lackey to a vengeful banshee.

Great! Well, I won't bore you with the details - a lotta it has to do with the you that I know, so you might get confused - but I wound up getting horribly poisoned as an unfortunate side effect of one of my plans. So, I took the logical step towards solving that problem - I pumped Bats full of my blood, made him find a cure, and shot his girlfriend when I found out that she took the cure from my minions! Right in front of him too, so it might just drag him over the edge!

Well well. You should write bedtime stories because I could definitely fall asleep to that again and again and again.

If it doesn't, it could still be twisted into a happy ending.

Yep! Munster won't tell me the ending, but I know how it'll go down - I'll wind up becoming immortal and leveling Gotham, like how all of my stories should end. I suppose I should be thanking whats-her-name, the Ghoul lady - she led me right to that pit in the first place! Wonder if she had any other secrets like that? ...Well, too late to find out now! Bahahahaha!

The Ghoul lady? I'm curious too, which girlfriend it was you shot. The one I'm familiar with in the catsuit or another?

Nope! Almost shot her, but Bats pulled her out of the way. No, this one was different - said she worked for Rash Argyle or something. [That's Ra's al-Ghul, but he'll never get that right.] ...Oh right, that was Talia! Oo-hoo-hoo, you should've seen the look on Bats' face!

Anything that she may have secreted away is no business of yours. Trust me on this. That is not a path you want to travel.
