Your enthusiasm is quite well-founded, mundane - these 'crossbows' are quite the wondrous piece of weaponry. It won't replace my maces, but it's certainly useful to have around.

Archery and the arcane certainly have their uses, I'll not deny that. I merely have a preference for being a bit more direct with things.

The shouts are...rather similar to magic - if not a very rare form of it.
