I'm not really happy about what you have planned, Mun. I know you keep saying it'll be okay but I have my doubts! This Ghirahim dude is really creepy and he keeps calling me a toy and then saying we're brothers. That doesn't even make sense! I mean, either you're mean or you're not, right? You can't be mean and nice in the same breath, it's too confusing.

At least Johnny's there for me, even if you're not. He'll keep me safe if I can't handle it on my own.

Nu-uh! He keeps saying I was made by some other guy but I was made by Master Ganondorf, though Ghirahim says they're the same so I really don't have any idea what he's talking about. He just creeps me out with his stupid tongue and he shoves me into walls sometimes and steals my sword.

He gave it back though.

[He may not be Ocarina!Link but he's got some of his memories and some of the most annoying are of that stupid freckled nuisance. Granted, had it actually been him there in the forest he would have handled things a bit differently...]

Uh, sort of. It's really complicated. I have some of my brother's memories so I remember growing up with the Kokiri and the Deku Tree and stuff but only bits and pieces. I just remember he was mean to my brother.

You know, you look a lot like Link when he was a kid! Are you another Link? Apparently there's more than one.

I am Link. And I grew up with the Kokiri and the Great Deku Tree. But I don't have a brother.

I've met a couple other Links, but they didn't grow up the Deku Tree.

Why would Mister Ganondorf make me fight you and kill you?

[Mister Ganondorf is one of his teachers at Smash Academy. While he knew there was something odd about the man because of the weird vision of him fighting another, older, Link with one of the Zelda's behind him, Link hadn't actually been treated badly by the man. And it confused him.]

Um.. 'cause he wanted me to get the Triforce that you had and then if I did I could be Link instead but you killed me before I could kill you but then I realized after I didn't really want to kill anyone. Or will realize. Time travel is confusing.

It's special magic or something. I dunno! It's not like he tells his minions anything important. He just dumped me in the Water Temple and told me to fight Link! I mean, you. In the future.

What's the water temple? Why do I have to go there and fight you? And why is the magic special? Is it like the Kokiri Emerald? Does it protect something important?

[Link sits down, legs stretched out in front of him and arms propping him up in the back. Waiting expectantly for a story to be told. One that maybe made more sense. Hopefully.]

OoT!Link in Vat is downfall timeline, so...

Uh, well... You have to get all the spiritual stones so you can open the gate of time with Zelda's ocarina since she wants to stop Master Ganondorf from taking over the world but then you go to sleep for seven years and he takes it over anyway and he makes me and then I dunno anything about it until you show up in the Water Temple and kill me.

[Well, then Ganondorf kills Link, but... He doesn't want to tell him that. It seems like something he wouldn't really want to know.]

Then we all end up in a bubble under the sea.

[That didn't sound like a very fun adventure. He knew he had to help one of the Zelda's - he wasn't sure which one at the Academy was 'his' yet - but that... that was a log of work. And sleeping for seven years? That was a really, really long time. Maybe it would be easier to understand the last part. Once he found out what 'the sea' was.]

...what's the sea?

It's like a lake but really huge and salty! And usually there's a beach by it so you can build castles and things out of sand. It's really cool!

Not big castles. Little ones. And sand gets sticky when it's wet! It's not magic.
