Love is overrated— especially when it's your twin's love life
I'm sorry... I just— No, it's not right, but what do you expect me to say? Call us biased, but we are him, y'know. We're all the same, deep down, so I can't go fixing his relationship for him. I would've probably said the same thing anyway... if it were me. I don't think either of them were right, but I guess what England did just smarts me more 'cause of that.
Which is why I'm totally glad I'm not in love. It's all too... way too complicated. It's way too messy. It doesn't make any sense. Just flip back through a couple posts here and you could see that without breakin' a sweat! How many of us are run ragged on this obsession you muns have? Not me. I'm not getting involved, ever. I did him a favor, helping the kid bring his drunk ass home, but that's it. I don't want to play mediator. Maybe saving them just means I gotta let them go their separate ways.
I'm sorry. I don't want anyone to hate us. But I don't know what else there is to do.

It's kinda hard not to when me and Alfred share a mun and his... uh, ex is insanely popular here.
[ They're America, after all. They thrive on attention and annoy the hell out of people with their constant habit of presuming everyone is a friend of theirs. ]
no subject
O-oh! Er, ye-yes...I suppose that would be kind of hard...but, um, who's his ex?
no subject
England.
no subject
E-England! That bushy-eyebrowed grump? S-since when!
no subject
Er... uh, well...
[ She doesn't really know how to answer that. She does not feel the same way about her version England as Alfred does about his and they definitely haven't spoken at length about it, so she can't begin to know how best to explain it. ]
...it's complicated? Since forever, kinda? They were together for a few months, ever since he showed up in my mun's headspace, but, uh... I think he's felt that way about England much longer. England didn't feel the same for... a long while. He... was in love with Spain, of all people.
[ She frowns and drops her gaze to the floor with a quiet sigh. Thinking about the whole thing is uncomfortable and it gives her a headache, but she's almost always thinking about it now, since Alfred seems to be fading quite a bit. ]
I guess it makes sense, in that way. They had a rough, painful start, so they get a rough, painful finish.
no subject
Er...the hell? S-since when? I-I thought... [He actually didn't know what he thought. Just that he has a headache right now. Congrats, you broke your poor micro-nation's brain.]
no subject
[Another shrug, a shake of the head. Love and its complications. Prussia's lucky her own relationships are never quite as complicated as England and America's.]

[ Hey, it's not like she asked the Republic of Molossia to show up in the middle of Nevada, tyvm. ]
no subject
Then it's a good thing no one's asked you.
[ As much as America likes and respects Prussia, her doling out relationship advice strikes the younger nation as extremely laughable. Between her anti-commitment issues and her choices in Belarus and Hungary, America takes anything she's bound to say with about a dozen truckloads full of salt. ]
I don't remember anyone dying and naming you Love Guru.
no subject
What's that supposed to mean...
no subject
[Besides, since when did any America ever complain about Molossia being there? He actually gives them money in the form of relief funds.]
no subject
I don't think these kind of things are supposed to make sense to everyone.
[ She shrugs with an uncharacteristically small laugh. ]
They just happen. It surprised my mun, and England's, too.
[ She may not feel the same way about her own England, but it does make sense to her. She doesn't fault anyone for not getting it though. ]
no subject
Th-then forget about it! Ain't like it's gonna hurt ya or anything like that.
[Girls and their feelings, so much confusion in here. Why can't they be like guys and not feel anything? :|]
no subject
It kind of does, 'cause like I said, we share a mun.
[ Poke poke poke... ]
I met another dude-Molo once. He was a pretty good kisser!
no subject
...N-nah, th-that couldn't of been m-me! [Oh god, are you really going to try and break his mind now, America?]
no subject
No one did, thank fucking God! I wouldn't even wanna be a Love Guru!
[Love and all that, so not her expertise. Give her something to beat up then you've got your gal, but those complicated, mushy feelings? Naaaah. She'll have to pass.]
no subject
So why're you hangin' around a place like this? Isn't it boring?
no subject
[ More prodding. ]
no subject
It's even more boring in the headspace.
[And she'd rather not deal with the gloom and doom happening in there right now. Everyone's feeling down and sometimes, one needs a break from all that. But then she's here, commenting about the issue. Not exactly an escape, but at least she can speak her mind without an army of Englands looking at her wrong.]
no subject
Well, do something about that. You're Prussia.
no subject
[There, you've got him to start blushing now and trying to grab that finger.]
B-but why would I kiss you! Not th-that I wouldn't want too....N-no that's not what I meant! [Can he hide himself now?]
no subject
Way ahead of you, or rather Gilbert is. [That smirk only deepens.] 'Word around the headspace is Gilbert and his Spanien and Frankreich have plans. And if I know those three, which I kinda do, it should be a riot. Hopefully it'd shake things up or at least put off the gloominess for a while.
no subject
Great! That should do the trick!
no subject
So you don't want to kiss me? How else are you gonna prove that, huh?
no subject
...Well, if you're going to be like that, then never mind me. Brat.
no subject
I-I do! ....B-but it ain't like I l-like you like th-that or anything.
S-so I'm not gonna! [Was it starting to get hot in here?]
no subject
...Then I won't.
[ She can't help being defensive. This is such a sensitive topic and she and her mun are used to the less tolerant atmosphere of another place. Broaching a subject and slicing the boil off with a clean, sharp, surgical blade, thus ending the problem there, is a process they're accustomed to executing swiftly, lest it fester and cause more... wank. ]
Snob.
no subject
no subject
So... that means I have to kiss you?
no subject
...NO! I-it doesn't! [Sob, his face has lit up like a Christmas tree now.]
no subject
I'm not your baby sister or your child!
no subject
You are, whether you like it or not! You chose me!
no subject
no subject
[There's probably more trouble ahead. There usually is considering it's the trio that's involved, but well, trouble's better than this plateau of nothing. Who knows how England would end up after the trio's done with him, though they have said they would be "in their best behavior," whatever that means... Maybe this'll be good! Make things go into motion! This is Prussia's brand of optimism. Nothing comes out of being idle or down.]
no subject
no subject
Hmm... I think the other dude-you was better...
no subject
Maybe... Maybe though... Maybe it will put things into motion again and cause one of them to act. ]
no subject
H-huh? W-w-well that's 'cause I-I didn't expect... [Can he just go ahead and die now?]
no subject
'Sorry, no second chances!
no subject
no subject
[ She sees it, but she pretends she doesn't, waving goodbye over her shoulder instead and she starts to head off. ]
See you around!
no subject
You're damn right I chose you! And what did you do? You left, over and over again. You were hardly with me in the "New World"! You left me in it to survive! By myself! Then you exploited my trust for your own gain, and warred with me, because I took the few things you had given me, to heart!
[ America cannot stand to look at the other woman for much longer— not now, not right now. Normally, she would be able to handle one of the older nation's typical emotional meltdowns without it affecting herself, but this time... It being still not long after her birthday, the drama going on between her twin and his England...
Amelia doesn't want Gwen to be upset, but simultaneously, she's frustrated, scared, and terribly depressed about what's going on. It may not affect her directly, but indirectly... there's all sorts of implications and she hates thinking about them all. Of course, no matter how many times she tells herself not to think about it, she just does so with increased intensity and half drives herself crazy with worrying and self-doubting. It's no surprise that England hits the exact buttons programmed to induce a small meltdown of her own. ]
What a stupid kid I was.
no subject
...well, that would happen if Gwen were Arthur. she prefers to back away from a fight, dignified, or perhaps scared.]
You'll always be a stupid kid. [coolly. and then she turns to leave again]
