Here or there, it doesn't matter where I am because regardless of location, you still hold me prisoner. However, I've learned it doesn't matter how many times I tell you that I've got better things to do than be your pawn in that foolish game, since you're more interested in your own entertainment than anything else.
At least show some common sense and get me a Red Lantern Battery. As much as I loathe The Oath, being almost completely powerless during the Dark Aeon's invasion was embarrassing and made me into little more than a target at times. I may not be afraid to die, but there's nothing worse than a death that serves no purpose. Give me something to fight with so I can make myself useful the next time the city falls under siege!

Though I have my own reasons for taking up a Red Lantern ring, I disagreed with the methods of the group and defected. They may be useless at defending much of anything, but I am not.

I can't say I'm too fond of "magical" rings, but hey, if you're using it for good who am I to argue? Have you looked into a different power source? Any tech can be modified if you know what you're doing.

Power rings can't be modified, not to my knowledge. They're seemingly based on a spectrum of emotions, the rings borne out of their corresponding "emotional elements." How one obtains a ring also seems dependent on what kind of ring it is as there are certain...requirements. One can't simply drop one type of ring and take up another on a whim.
[Skirting around the issue a bit, there. Still, it's not like he's obligated to offer details of a personal nature.]

Any technology can be modified. There must be some sort of neural link established for them to be connected to emotion... I'd have to get a better look at one of those things to say for sure, of course. Not asking you to hand yours over or anything, since it's not much use getting this knowledge outside a game and all.

[Hesitating before asking.]
Red Lantern Battery?

[He frowns, not answering immediately. Explaining the situation here won't change anything in Nautilus, however, so...]
I require a battery to charge my ring. I assume that one day, I'll be able to rely wholly on bending to keep it charged, but for now...I need the assistance.

All of us have been, Aya. Anyone held by a mundane is technically a prisoner until released. Or perhaps slave might be the more accurate term, since they give us little choice in doing their bidding.

[His lip curls a little, Razer feeling as though the true weight of what it means to bear a power ring isn't getting through to this one.]
Rumor has it that the original Red Lantern power ring and central battery were created through blood rites and borne out of rage. How the Guardians of Oa forge green power rings and batteries, I do not know. They are, however, one of the most ancient races in existence. If any of this is truly based in technology, it's far beyond my own knowledge.

[He just finished putting a stop to an alien invasion with a few other people and the person leading the invasion had ten powerful rings that could warp reality. He's pretty over magic rings right now.]
Blood rites? I'll believe it when I see it. If they're so old, their technology is probably so advanced it looks like magic to anyone who doesn't understand how it really works.

It has been my understanding until now that a mun is this world's equivalent of a Captain, much as Green Lantern Hal Jordan once commanded the Interceptor.
Was I mistaken in this comparison?
