[He chuckles. It's not exactly a nice sort of laugh.]

[He gives a rather nonchalant shrug.]

What did your mun vex you with?

Ah, but I'm not like most adults...

[He emphasizes this point by flashing his Advent Deck.]

Mostly with not letting me out to play often enough. She's looking for a game, but she's taking her time about it...and it's looking like she may stick me somewhere I won't have any powers.

[His eyes narrow as he remembers something else. The Snickers incident in the Easily Derailed Villains meme. He does not speak of the Snickers incident.]

[Are those cards? Are you really an adult? Says the kid who plays with fast food toys] Really. Powers, you say.

Yes. Powers.

[Adult enough to wind up thrown in jail many, many times! He grins once more before holding that deck up to a conveniently-placed mirror. This causes a weird silver belt to appear around his waist, but you wouldn't know anything about weird belts, would you, Ryusei?]

Henshin!

[And oh, look, he's slotted that deck of cards into the belt, and with that, he has transformed into his own Rider form. He's rocking his head back and forth, loosening up.]

[What.]

... I see.

[That's the cue for me to scream and run away]

[Ouja watches the screaming and running away, looking irritated behind that helmet.]

[Dunn dun dun duuuuuuun Glowing blue ball out of nowhere!] Kamen Rider Meteor...the one who will determine your fate.

Who or what are you?

[Well, now things just became much more entertaining. Another Rider, was it?]

Kamen Rider Meteor, eh? Can't say I'm familiar with you. Perhaps Kanzaki's added a few more players to his game...

[Ouja's now holding his cobra-headed staff in front of him. He flicks open the card slot and withdraws a card from his deck.]

The name's Kamen Rider Ouja--and I am the only one in control of my fate.

[With that, he's inserted the card into a staff...]

SWORD VENT

[...and now he's holding a curved gold sword.]

I have no quarrel with you. Especially if you're a Rider. [Though...] Who's Kanzaki?

[vexed_snake]

[Oh, that's not a good sign. You've made him laugh. Hard.]

Kanzaki's the one that started this Rider War.

[He does notice Meteor doesn't seem to have a deck like he does, which may mean that this Rider isn't involved in that, but...he really doesn't care. An interesting-looking potential opponent has shown up.]

And what kind of Rider won't fight?

[Careful, Meteor, he's running at you with that sword now.]

[Incredulous.] Rider War?

[SATURN  Have some rings flying at you.]

A war between Riders? That's ridiculous.

[vexed_snake]

[Ouja laughs as he swings his sword at the incoming rings. There are a lot of sparks flying as he hits them, and the rings have at least kept him from advancing.]

That's why the Riders exist. To fight. Kanzaki promised great power to the one that wins...not like I care. This war is glorious enough as it is!

[Sorry, Meteor, he's...not quite right in the head.]

[But I thought Riders were for justice? Did Tomoko steer me wrong?]

"Glorious," you say? [I am legit getting mad.]

... This makes my decision easier. [Defensive stance. COME AT ME BRO]

Hoooooo— [... Or I'll come to you, whichever. Running at you and launching a punch] —wa-cha!

[Sadly, most of his world's Riders would have died laughing when Tomoko said that...]

[Ouja sidesteps that first punch and retaliates with a sword slash of his own. He is also clearly enjoying this.]

[Dodging the sword strike]

I pity your life, then!

[Feinting a punch to the face, aiming for the midriff]

[Before Ouja can deliver some retort, that punch connects with his midsection, knocking him back a bit. That sword's his staff again, and once more, he's got that card reader open and has slotted a card inside.]

ADVENT

[Hope you like giant purple cobras, Meteor, because there's one lunging out of that mirror at you.]

Huh—

[Would you look at that. I've fought a crab about as big—]

—AH WHAT THE WHAT HOW DO GIANT SNAKES ATTACK THAT FAST

—Hitting the ground! Rolling away! Pulling out the Meteor Storm Switch!]

[Ouja laughs as Venosnaker does his work. He sees Meteor pulling out that Switch, but since he was totally bluffing when he said he knew of Switches, he's totally dismissed that action as a possible threat.

As the snake slithers to coil behind its laughing master, Ouja pulls another card from his deck. Meteor better act fast--Ouja's about to try for his finisher.]

[Meteor Stooooooorm]

Meteor Storm Punisher! [It's a spinning top! It runs along the ground a bit and then jumps up to boink the snake on the head.]

[Punisher redirects Cosmic Energy toward whatever I want. How big an enemy is is insignificant. Meteor Storm can never be overwhelmed when it comes to Cosmic Energy. So why isn't this working?!]

What— [Punisher didn't have any effect? What is going on with that snake?!]

The muns here like playing around with things that they have no business touching. Better get used to it.

Playing is one thing. Rendering me nearly defenseless is another. [Sigh.]

[Venonaker hisses in irritation at the bonk on the head, because, hey, a bonk on the head is a bonk on the head. Looks kind of like he wants to eat the top, too. It seems Mirror Monsters don't mesh too well with Cosmic Energy...

Ouja's wondering what's up with the top as he jams the card he's pulled into his staff.]

FINAL VENT

[Now he's cast aside the staff and is running at Meteor, with Venosnaker hot on his heels. He jumps in the air, and the snake lends him quite a powerful boost so now he's rocketing at Meteor while performing a scissor kick.

Dodging would probably be a good idea--and he'll be vulnerable to attack if his attack fails.]

[Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu—]

Aaauuugh!!

[Good thing this form can take a bit of damage. Is my top still spinning? A little? It's enough; I'll send it at this guy's head as a distraction while I get to my feet.]

[Huff, huff. Ow.] What is that snake? What are you?

[vexed_snake]

[The top hits Ouja in the head, which does a good job of stopping him from attempting to finish Meteor off. It looks sort of like he's trying to shoo it away like it's some kind of a bug, actually...and Venosnaker is watching it like it's some tiny thing that can be quickly eaten. At least they're both giving Meteor a little breathing room as a result.]

It's a Mirror Monster--and I'm its master.
