You know, everyone's bagging on me using Bing as a search engine, but did anyone stop to think that I live with a middle-aged lady who doesn't even know what Twitter is?

It's like no one ever had a technophobic older relative growing up.

Maybe there's some kind of mom-type secret to it, I wouldn't know. And that doesn't even make sense, why would I get a kick out of using Bing? That'd be like sending my hipster cred down the drain.

I kinda feel you, though. I can use any search engine I want and no one's gonna give two shits. But you get caught using Bing once and no one can shut up about it.

[ so admittedly, gwen has maybe used bing once or twice when she had no other choice, but not on her own computer which brings her to her VERY IMPORTANT point: ]

It might have something to do with how that might just have been used by only you. [ p a u s e. ] Not that Bing is bad, it's just not the preferred search engine for everyone. Mainly because you think Internet Explorer when you think Bing.

It's just an unfortunate correlation between the two. You can't really help it. [ another pause and then: ] Was it the only computer? Did you share it?

Technically it's mine, but Aunt May uses it sometimes for baking recipes and tips on keeping the kitchen sink from getting clogged. It's just easier for both of us to keep that stupid browser instead of explaining why Firefox or Chrome don't have toolbars when I use them.

[He's been trying to convince her Angry Birdz is more fun than whatever it is she does on IE, okay, it's just not happening yet.]

...Shoot, toolbars. I have to uninstall that one toolbar again.

AND it's the browserr's preset search engine... Do people not get that Aunt May would kill me... you... us... if we changed to Google?
