So, we’ve been thinking about it, and- And while we’re both flattered! Both, very, very flattered, um-? [ looking at you now Pete ]
Uh, yeah - we’re pretty good where we are, y’know? I’d really - rather not havta worry about like cryptic evil punctuation coming to kill me in my sleep. [ It’s amongst a lot of other reasons. The final frontier is something he’d normally love to explore - that’s his inner science nerd talking, but the fact that it’s dangerous, the fact that Gwen is going to be infront of danger does make him worry. Not as much as the fact that he could be helping a lot of people by legitimately being there. It’s a lot of conflicting feelings. ]
And after everything... I just don’t think space is the best idea for me right now. It’s not exactly the... ideal direction! That I was planning to take. For my future. [ n e r v o u s. but only because yeah, no way does she want to end up in space, that would COMPLETELY ruin her chances of getting into a good college and mess up all the other plans she has, and has been working for, her whole life. HONESTLY, mun. she’s standing a little straighter now, shoulders back. ] I just think that if we’re going to be sent into space, it should be our decision to do so.
Just, I dunno. We could, I mean. We’re just way too busy for space. Got stuff, planned. We’re planners. Gwen’s gotta get like - a new recommendation letter and I mean - I guess, it’s kinda like ultimately not our decision ‘cause you two are like, holding the keyboards of our fate, but like - think of Gwen’s future.
