reviewing stuff and meme-ing :|a

You tell me I could use a getaway, and then you throw me into awful situations. I think I can officially say 'I called it', thanks. Nothing ever goes right, so it's on par for the course. [At least it can't get any worse than what he's already dealt with--or at least, that is a mighty challenge. :|] And no, I didn't really need a map of my house. Why would I need a map for my house? Hell, I needed a map for what it turned into, if that's what you're asking. Jesus.

[wait what are you playing now]

...

Origins...? Is that--is that the guy I got a lift from to Shepherd's Glen? [TRAVIS THE TRUCKER WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME]

Is there anyone who hasn't been to Silent Hill?

I can't say that I've ever been there... although, if what I've heard of it is true, I should count myself very lucky for this.

Well, I only know what I've overheard from my... dear mundane, but suffice it to say that no, I don't think I intend to take any children there anytime soon. Or myself, for that matter.

Sounds a bit like an experience that I once had. I'm only glad that mine was simply an art gallery rather than an entire town.

[Oh hey there sacrifice you are frustratingly not sacrificed]

Not really. At least not anyone from around New England.

...Travis was the one to give you a lift?

"Weird" is certainly one way of describing it. And far more polite than many that I would have considered.

[Harry just kind of smiles in this quiet and knowing manner. He knows exactly what you've been through, Alex, but he's sorry you had to endure it.]

Silent Hill has a way of drawing people to it. I won't ask what brought you there, but just... don't let it follow you out.

[Kids have bad luck with it? You have no idea, Alex. >8| ]

What tips could he give besides 'grab all the weapons you can'? I guess there's 'get a radio' and 'get ready for dead loved ones to come back', but even then, that's not really much...

Now there's a thought. Though I'm not entirely sure that it's a good one. I shudder to think what may happen if they form an alliance.

Well, when I first arrived, it seemed perfectly normal. On the small side, but well-kept. They were having an exhibit on Guertena, a fairly unknown artist. Things were perfectly fine, at first-- a bit boring, even, but then... [he pauses. how to explain this next part...] Things began to change. The building went dark and quiet, and the other visitors to the museum disappeared. I'm still not certain where they were taken, or if perhaps myself and a friend of mine were the only ones taken to the, ah... alternate gallery. It was impossible to tell, to be quite frank.
yardbird: Because it ain't no trivia about my flat in West Bolivia. (your honor; i'ma have to get rid of ya)

[On one hand, Murphy had hopes that he'd never hear the name of that town ever again. But, on the other -- it's almost good to know that he isn't only one, seeing all the crazy shit that he saw there. Something about misery liking company, possibly, sadistic as it may be.]

Yeah, I... figured out pretty quickly that their idea of a so-called getaway doesn't exactly match up with a happy vacation. You'd think goin' through Hell in that fucked up place would've been enough, huh?

I believe at least most if it was the work of a certain painting-- a painting of a young girl named "Mary." It seems she wanted to leave that place-- honestly, I can't imagine why.
yardbird: fffff- (dammit left the oven on again)

Man, that's harsh. I at least had a few days-- ["in remission"] --to get as far away from... it as I could, and... then I woke up on a spaceship.

[What.]

Guess some people are just born with shit luck in their blood.

It seems hard to believe, but... yes, it seems so. Mary was a painting. I'm still not sure of exactly what happened in that place, to be completely honest, but I have a funny feeling that it all started with her.
