Before I get to addressing the etiology of that word, and I do think it must be rather fascinating because I can seen nothing "mundane," as it were, about being the sole wielder of such an enormous amount of power and responsibility, even if you consider your lifestyle, in some way, inferior to mine owing to the fact that you're not constantly escaping from the claws of certain doom by the skin of your figurative teeth--since teeth don't actually have skin--I do have a very serious question that I feel the need to ask you, in order to fully understand where I stand in this particular environment.
[She pauses to take a breath.]
Why am I here?
I mean, don't you think my time would be better served perfecting my alchemy formulas in order to facilitate the machinations of my friends as they attempt to, in laymen's terms, fight the good fight and battle evil and sally forth with honor and courage and all the virtues of the Triforce or what have you?
And couldn't you send me someplace with men wearing tight leather pants?
I can't believe I just said that out loud.
