New face and new icons, huh? Guess I can't complain. Third try's got some charm and I always thought about dying my hair red. It works. [She shrugs.] You gotta shitton of work ahead of you before we get anything good, though.

You know, I think the new face will grow on me, Shepard. The freckles are kind of cute.

I wasn't sure about it at first, but I think it'll grow on me, too. Kinda like the freckles, myself.

Change is pretty much inevitable on a universal scale. I can't get bent out of shape when shit goes south. [Her voice is dry.] Besides, I can proably credit Miranda with the makeover.

With people who have known you under ten minutes of non-combat time, maybe. [She's teasing to make you feel better, she promises. Maybe.]

Miranda works as an excuse, not to worry. It'd be right up her alley.

[The corners of her eyes crinkle.]

Y'know, I've only seen one version of us that wasn't a redhead, and she was blonde. It worked, I guess, but didn't have the same feel. I'm definitely a fan of the red-head look personally.

It required some tweaking from the mun--especially with the eyes--and playing around with the hair color, but it works. When all this crap began, I was a redhead. Guess it makes sense to go back to that.

Okay, just making sure. Can't have you having some sort of identity crisis when we're trying to save the galaxy or whatever.

[Her laugh is a bright bark at that.] I've been through too much to go batshit over my own face not being 'right'.

Yeah, my mun was never very good at that sort of thing, so he just went with the default look. [Shrug.] Fits me just fine.

It's a good face. I think my mun's just fussy.

Hey, hey, just making sure. Sometimes it's the little things that get to you the worst. An itchy nose can ruin a day. An itchy nose that doesn't even feel like yours would have to be worse, I assume.

Before shit went down, I did, maybe once or twice. No time to give a crap, now.

Don't tell me you did the whole "makeup" thing too.

[Raises hands.] Not really. The hell do I need makeup for when it's just gonna get wrecked by blood and soot and other junk?

Should probably ask someone like Miranda about that. Makeup isn't exactly one of my specialties.
