A new home away from home.
I'm not entirely thrilled about this move, I'll have you know.
If you ask me, it all looks to be just about the same.
So long as I have all my things though... I believe I may be able to settle in without much of a fuss.
Just leave me alone.
There's work to be done.

[She remembered torturing another Holmes with that, he just had to know things and it amused her.]

no subject
[ He was made to move, as well. ]
no subject
...Malkavian?
[Unfortunately... now you've peaked his interest.]
dfskjgahlgh OMFG ilu
As I so put, thank you.
[There's a difference you know. Obviously.]
And I'm not fussing, merely stating.
Might take a little bit of time for me to settle in.. that's all.
no subject
Till I got lured out here...
[Maybe he doesn't want to get used to it.]
no subject
"Lured"?
You were "lured" here? That's certainly a new way of putting it.
no subject
A fri- er, uh... well not really a friend per se, just someone I happen to know.. convinced me to come over and check the place out.
no subject
Then you weren't "lured". You were convinced. Not the same thing.
no subject
He made a tempting offer.
I was practically baited.
Difference.
no subject
Bollocks.
no subject
It's true.
You can't argue facts.
They're... facts!
no subject
[She's not going to make it easy for you Holmes.]
no subject
... it's not a fact, Sherlock, it's your version of events. That hardly deems it a "fact".
no subject
Just because you weren't there to experience the luring first hand, does not mean it didn't happen.
Seeing, is not always believing.
no subject
Well it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out.
Obviously it's something secretive, or at least not part of the common knowledge of the usual masses, why else would you be trying to tempt me with it?
So let's take the word apart and see what it says.
The prefix. Mal. Simple enough. Middle English word, old French. Meaning 'wrongful', typically associated with something wicked or evil.
ah, now we're getting somewhere. Of course something so sinister would be kept secret.
So let's see, something not of common knowledge, is considerably wicked, and kept secret..
to answer your question, yes, I would very much like to know.
no subject
[She smiled.]
but sorry kitten you're on the wrong track but I guess I could help you out a little, kitten.
[Of course that smile would turn into a wicked smirk.]
but what will you give me for answers to this big dark secret?
no subject
Although John wouldn't necessarily disagree to Sherlock having a look that is difficult not to appreciate... ]
I honestly can't get over the fact you keep choosing the word "luring" to describe how you came to be over here.

[Kitten? Well that certainly gets a none to amused look from him. Sherlock Holmes is far from being considered a 'kitten' and he isn't too fond of pet names.
No pun intended of course.]
Suppose I ought to leave that up for negotiation then.
What would you like..?
you have NO IDEA how much I want these verses to cross. NO IDEA AT ALL
Right.
[You say that as if he was mister popularity or something. How silly of you, Watson.]
I suppose I could... make friends..
no subject
What? What's so wrong with my terminology?
Lured, enticed, persuaded, s'all the same thing.
Point of the matter is, I'm here now and have almost no idea at all what to do with myself.
...it's frustrating.
no subject
[She would ask for something else but it would give part of the answer away.]
no subject
NO I THINK I DO. it's like my dream for a mismatched sherlock and john to wind up in a game together
How do you intend to do that? Woo people with your natural charm? Well, if no one queues up, just remember that you have other people already here that consider you a friend.
akjslkjhsdkjdhfkjsahslkjahadkjhljsda YOU SIR. ALL OF MY LOVE. ALL OF IT!!
I'm sensing sarcasm.. [This detective has THE BEST personality ever, don't you dare object to say otherwise. Might hurt his feelings. Y'know, if he had those.]
Hm? Other people?
What other people?
no subject
I just.. well it's a bit difficult to figure out precisely where to start.
no subject
I should have you know, I'm not a kitten, nor am I feline in any way.
But I'm fairly certain bestiality isn't exactly something that's looked upon to fondly.
:D SAME.
Eeep! ♥
Think.]
You?
No, you don't count. [He means that in a good way, honest.]
no subject
Not to mention Lestrade.
no subject
And you. You're different.
So neither of you count.
And Lestrade is-
...well he's in another category too.
[Excuses, excuses. He's got a million of them.]
no subject
I see.
no subject
A bit not good then..?
[No, obviously not. But he's still skeptical.]
Oh don't look at me like that. Of all people, I'd at least expect you to understand.
no subject
[It is actually a well-known fact that any time someone fully understands Sherlock Holmes, the likelihood that the person in question is mentally disturbed increases a little bit. Things do not bode well for a one John Watson.]
I'm not entirely sure what that says about me.
no subject
[ Have a bit of cheek, Sherlock. ]
no subject
It speaks in volumes actually.
All good things of course, I assure you.
no subject
[See this? He's glaring at you know John. Bad. Stoppit with your smartassy-ness]
no subject
no subject
If you say they're good things then I think I should worry a bit more!
no subject
What's so bad about if I'm the one who considers it good or not?
