To have slept, and to have woken not in the place where I last closed my eyes. The sun had set and the taste of it no longer lingers at all, and yet, to open my eyes when already darkness has fully come. No. That is not right.
A device, is this, like you humans use to record your things. Such clever creatures.
A strange feeling. Do you understand, sister? Ah, but sister... Never could I hear you, though now, will I hear you ever again? Mekare. Your image is not upon any of these mortals’ minds. Not a whisper of what has happened. Nothing. It is not to be expected, but, ah, there… I am not alone, am I?
… but my mortal family.
Such jumbled thoughts.
