While I can appreciate the effort to "maintain my voice", mundane, do you really believe a tumblr, of all things, is the way to achieve this? Don't think I've been oblivious to the art you've looked at, either. Sometimes, I worry about the headspace I'm in.

However, if this encourages you to finally start working on the application, then I suppose I'll endure in the meantime.
