What does scouring the internet for Rachel say about your ability to take me on? [ This may very well be a roundabout way of saying, he doesn't hate that his mun wants to find Rachel, but maybe that shouldn't be their top priority. ]

What kind of man would I be if I didn't? [ That lie is built around the truth. If Bruce did run into Rachel first and she brought up Harvey he could feel obligated to say something, leading them to find one another without actually doing what he implied he would. ]
