Allow me to thank you for, at last, making an effort to chronicle the origins of the Flamberge family. I am satisfied with your portrayal of my ancestor so far, though his nationality was an surprising discovery even for me. I suppose I should read up on the culture of Portugal, and so should you, if you are to depict him accurately. Do not let his choice in terms of Pokémon demoralize you - Rhydon are magnificent creatures, though I see how they would be difficult to write and move through a story.
Do not give up. This is turning out to be one of your most interesting endeavors yet.
