Because, yes, you are rather dull.
It would really be best if you stopped with these ideas right now. First of all, your idea is overly complex. Secondly, remember in high school when you read "The Problem of Cell 13"? Indeed, your idea was 'too clever.' The teacher called you "MacGyver" whatever that means. So, you need to stop this nonsense right now! They will reveal it, if they choose. Besides, as in the case I mentioned above, you are too clever about it - that would be too much work for me. So, the only possible explanation is that you are completely off base in how I survived.
Also? When I called John, I did not cry! It was the RAIN! Rain doesn't show up on telly quite properly! ... And even if I did cry? It wasn't over John - it was over the fact that my reputation is what died in that fall, even if I did not.
Now, will you stop turning me into a compassionate fool? Yes, I 'died' for them. That doesn't mean we need to get sentimental over it.
I did what had to be done, that is all!
Now, if you want to make me happy, purchase me some actual emotions, I do have them, you know.
