Well, golly, Mun! It sure is nice of you to try little old me on for size! I reckon we're gonna make a pretty swell team -- almost as good as me and Jay!

Now, speakin' of Jay, you're gonna find me a place where we'll be together, right? I know I'm not alone so long as I got my crystal beasts with me, but dueling just ain't as fun without my best bud by my side!

[He tosses an arm around Chazz's shoulders, mostly because he knows it will annoy the heck out of him.] Now come on, Chazz, don't be like that! The way I see it, the more the merrier, right?

Urgh...! It's Manjoume-thunder!  *Cue an irritated swat away of the arm.*

There's such a thing as too much of something, *He offers a sideways glance* and both you and Judai are too much.

Too much for you to handle, you mean? [Here, have a cocky grin.] Well, I can't say I blame you for feelin' that way... You may be Manjoume-thunder, but together me an' Jay can tear it up like a tropical storm!

Aw, shucks, Thunder! [He slaps Manjoume on the back just a bit too enthusiastically.] You sure know how to flatter a guy! But you're right, takin' on top duelists like me and Jaden can have devastating consequences.

*What part of that was a compliment? Ugh, Only someone with the mentality of these two could get a compliment from something like that.* "Top Duelists"? You seem to be forgetting that you haven't won any duels at Duel Academy since you'd gotten there.

Hey now, that's not true at all! I mean, I guess technically the duels I won weren't at Duel Academy - seein' as we were stuck in another universe and all - but just 'cause you don't remember doesn't mean I never won!

Maybe you were just too busy being a zombie... Remember that? [He holds his arms straight out in front of him, trying his best to keep a straight face as he shuffles forward, mimicking a zombie voice.] Jaden... Jaaaaaaadeeeen... duuuuuel meeeee..!

*Manjoume couldn't keep as straight of a face. He blinks with rather wide eyes, giving a long thin frown. * Wh-- N-No! Of course I don't remember, because there's no way I would act like that! Don't change the subject!

*He sidesteps the 'menacing' zombie clutches.*  Tch, This is the kind of gratitude I get for going back there to help find you.

[He sobers quickly, however, his expression turning serious as he responds to Manjoume's next comment.] You're right, though, and believe you me, I am grateful -- I'm grateful to all of you who came to my rescue. I'd have been plum out of luck if y'all hadn't risked your lives to save my sorry hide, so... Thanks. I owe you one, Thunder.

*Manjoume gives a discontented exhale.* ..Fine. Don't let it happen again in whatever place you end up. Your friends might not be around to help get you and the other disaster out of trouble.

Don't think I'll have much trouble in that department. Storm season may be rollin' in, but I ain't seen hide nor hair of hurricane Jaden 'round these parts, so hopefully I won't get into too much trouble all by my lonesome.

But what about you? You got someone watchin' your back?

Not really. Just the same weak trash that always looks out for me, If you could even give them that much credit. *And on cue a certain little yellow spirit peeks over his shoulder, which Manjoume promptly swats away before it can say anything irritating.*

[He grins, finding the whole display rather cute, but wisely choosing not to voice that particular fact.] Well, least you got good friends to keep you company! And hey, you can always call on me and Ruby here if the waves get too rough for you to weather on your own. [The dainty, cat-like dual monster appears on his shoulder, then, chirping her agreement.]
