[She grinds her teeth together in frustration. Then she plops down in a chair and shoots Candeloro a dirty look.]

Fine! You want to play it like this, we'll play. Give me white tea, no cream, two cubes of sugar.

[Candeloro seems pleased. She should be fighting this magical girl but that can wait. After all, who knows what a Witch's tea contains? Maybe she'll stay for a while at least until the party is over.

Candeloro prepares the cup of tea exactly to order]

I'm so glad you decided to stay.

[It smells like tea, that's for sure. Just like the stuff she drinks at home after a long day of hunting Witches across the city. Etsuko sniffs it once more, then takes a big sip.]

If this is a trick, Witch, you'll be sorry-!

No thanks. I've got better things to do than drink tea with strangers. [ he may be an ass, but he's not entirely stupid... even if those better things to do apparently aren't important enough for him to stop talking to her anyway. ] But here's a hint: if you want people to stay, you gotta do more than just ask. Tea and nice words don't go a long way.

[She has other methods of making her visitors stay. Her smile fades to a neutral expression. It's making her a bit angry, if the truth is to be told.]

It won't kill you. Now that the party's started...

[It's not poison if that's what you're asking. Candeloro isn't so crass as to poison her guests. She just wants to make sure they...stay is all.]

I am Candeloro. Who are you? If you're to stay, don't you think introductions are in order?

[Don't mind the two familiars bustling around. They only want to keep the table nice and neat for the guest]

[Oh crap, she forgot to kill the familiars when she came in here! But she just can't seem to care enough to smite them. And oh look, tea cakes. She's stuffed about three in her mouth by the time Candeloro's done speaking.]

Mmrf. [Gulp.] Etsuko. Aichi Etsuko, from Mitakihara Town. You're... not what I expected from a Witch. Most try to kill humans as soon as they wander in. And they've never spoken before.

[He dips the teabag into the cup and glances over at the woman.]

Can't stay long, Cain will kill me if I'm late again.

Can't imagine why. [ the whole stay forever thing isn't particularly endearing to him, shockingly enough. ]

[She smiles charmingly. The familiars aren't exactly going in for the kill, either--they're just putting down more tea cakes and refilling the tea.]

I'm a good hostess... It would be so lonely if I killed all my guests.

It's a strange party, but I'm willing to overlook it if it means more tea.

[Look, she's even transformed out of her magical girl outfit into her normal clothes. -Okay, so it's a Catholic school uniform. What do you want?]

Just remember that they're pretty fragile. They're like teacups. Treat them gently and they'll always come back to visit.
