I mean I can't see them wanting to lose so many loyal customers.

Yeah, the issue really is my abilities.

I am not going to brag about them but they would be considered "Meta" in a roleplay setting and someone might worry about a totally new guy to a community having that sort of power. Even if he would ask permission first.

It could work but my very being would have to be messed with for that. He probably will end up doing it but he would have to justify it to himself.

As for me? I wouldn't mind having a little less power, though the bastard would probably leave me with my telepathy.

I don't really have any cool powers myself, so I can't really speak for the process! But a lot of games have sorts of power suppressor stuff, so you'd still be you.
But telepathy sounds so cool!

As for the powers; my situation is a sort of special case where the powers define me to some extent. If he had the room my user name would have been "stopped_the_rain"
