Revenge, it was all I had and except for the Joker it's done. I think he's too crazy to die to be honest; so now what? I can't exactly jet set around the world like a debutant anymore, that life is over for me.

Why do you keep pushing me back there? Bruce doesn't exactly need more complications in his life and I've screwed it up enough.

Let's stay out of Gotham, stay away.. I've screwed my own life up enough maybe I can avoid messing up any others too badly. I keep tabs on him, sure. It's pretty hard to miss the news stories about what he's done; how he's with one girl after another. He's moved on, maybe it time you and I do the same.

Or maybe I could go and visit mom again, for old times sake. That would be ok, not like going to see him, mom would understand.

I did confront it, it got me almost killed and..ruined the life of someone I care about. The problem with confronting demons is that they never leave you undamaged, funny how they forget to mention that part.

That's exactly the sort they are. I can't have what I want, everything I loved was taken away from me, and I did the one thing I thought would make it right. It didn't, it didn't even make me feel better. It just made my anger turn dark and as crazy as the man I wanted dead.

Going back means one of two things, I die or I go to prison. I'm not sure that either is something I don't deserve.
