Looking for a game! [canon: Monsters vs Aliens]

So you want me to abandon my world which is frequently attacked by aliens, robots, giant snails, demonic pumpkins and sentient carrots for... what, exactly?

Mundanes tend to overlook important things like that.

[A beat.]

You are extremely tall.

[A talking fish in a robot suit, even. It's a weird world.]

Oh! I'm sorry; I didn't mean to be rude...

And yes. Well. Sort of.
nannyfish: (aahhh...)

Can I ask how that happened?

Oh, uh. Fine, thank you! I've always been a fish. Or. Alien fish.

Your wedding? Oh, you poor thing! That's awful...

Oh! Well... Formerly. Formerly bad, now good.
nannyfish: (gotta have faith)

Oh, I see. Well, um... Congratulations, then?

Why, thank you! Are you some sort of superhero, then?

Ink City?

[What's this extremely tiny looking (by comparison), floating, pink kitty thing? Susan won't freak if there's suddenly a voice in her head, right?]

How about for a city that is frequently harassed by megalomaniacs, robots, ink monsters, demonic plant-things, and...uh...problematic weather?

...time off?

I mean seriously, I had to deal with less than that, and even I wanted a vacation.

For adventure!

[Listen Megamind is all about this stuff, okay? ADVENTURE and AWESOME and he's very enthusiastic about the places he goes and the evil he now fights.]

Isn't it better than just sitting around waiting for the next predictable crisis? I mean, really.

Some places are better than others, of course, but most of them are a grand time! Not always perfect, mind you, but-- the thrll of the mystery of what comes next is always exciting! There's never a dull moment!
