Damn, girl, you've got a huge list of things to read, don't you? I suppose I should feel some tingling sense of pride knowing that I've been bumped up to the top of the list, even though you know full well it'll be a big change.
And what would you do with a guy like me? All these games and places and whatnot, they're not cut out for a guy like me. I can't read minds, I'm not trained in hand-to-hand combat, not a spy, not good with nothin' I don't need. I can repair what needs it, fix a typewriter, and chop wood like nobody's business, but that don't make me the kind of guy that someone really wants to have around.
And I got a book to finish, you know. If you just read and watch behind the scenes and research this Kubrick and this King guy for hours and hours and hours and never actually play? I think you know what that makes you.
Though, you never shined in the first place, did you?
