Not only are you trying out a new platform, you're also creating another alternate universe to go with it? I know you think that my fandom background is flexible, and that the other universe itself has parts that mesh if not well, then in ways that are easy to acknowledge and smooth over. However, you said yourself that you already have too many muses elsewhere, even if they sit around collecting dust. And don't try to kid yourself, this isn't going to be something that is easy for others to pick up and join in on.

You don't have any information up, beyond those two oaths, and the latter should not see common usage. You're still debating on my icons, oh, and you have multiple ways for this merger to happen. Until you finish making up your mind, I guess I'll be here. Helping to speed up the heat-death of the Universe by idling. Now if I could go out and do my job? That would be appreciated. That is, if you ever find somewhere to place me. At least I have a specialty.

My mundane is a little curious of something.

Have you ever met someone that is a "Psychonaut"? and not in the American slang term of the word.

I've met people who will meditate on existence, but not to the extent where I could call them a psychonaut.

Ah no that's not what I mean. Not in my world but in another, psychics can do what you do but with a machine or some sort of psychic concentrator that looks like a tiny door.

Though they lack the amount of control that you have.

With wizardry, a lot of what we do is in the definition of things. It has to be exact.

My mundane didn't find anything that she thought was interesting, but then, the bulk of roleplayers either didn't want to leave Lj yet, or went over to insanejournal given their icon space.

I'm sure that there will be games starting up soon enough.

She's taking the idea that 'There are more worlds than this' and applying it to dreams, as another aspect of metaphysical travel.

What she's on the fence about is whether to keep the PASIV as a machine, so that the idea of dreaming is in line with what happened in the movie, or to let the entire concept be another form of wizardry itself.

Well, dream-sharing engines aren't the most straightforward bit of wizardry, but I've always been a fan of sustainability more than quick and easy solutions.

Have you tried combining the two? Pure mechanics is one thing and pure wizardry is another, but you're eventually going to have to talk the guy into working correctly anyways, unless you think wherever your mun is dropping you will have the parts to do mundanely physical repairs.

Use what already exists and add on to it? *He flashes a grin* A little of that does happen already. Welding tools don't always have the same amount of dexterity as a carefully applied spell.

The balance of the two sides is what is mostly in question.

Technique can only get you so far when the equipment isn't suited to the task. The worst are size differences.
