Pumpkin Spice Flavored Poetry

Hollow and Gloomy, like a Jack O’lantern,

Anguished and Terrified, like lost kids in a corn maze,

Loud and Hopeless, like the cries nobody will hear,

Lame and Headless, like my sister's decapitated doll,

Outcast and Forsaken, like a Princess Pony fan,

Wornout and Nauseous, like a trick or treater on the way home,

Empty and Silent, like a bell without its clapper,

Ephemerous and Fleeting, like one day to celebrate out of 365,

Null and Void, like the rest of the year.


No other day quite compares to Halloween.

Sigh
