Mun's random injury woke someone up (x-posted)
[She seems more entertained than concerned as she looks over the x-ray of her mun's knee.]
How on Earth did you manage that? It's not exactly like you've been in any fights recently.
I know there was talk of the last time there was any marked damage to your knee, but for Heaven's sake, that was in primary school.
[It's all she can do not to laugh at how absurd this is, and how of course the most careful person she knows has some sort of damage that defies explanation. Despite the fact that she's snickering, it's honestly out of endearment. The injury isn't serious, and there is a plan in motion to fix it.]
I suppose if injuries from youth truly do come back in adulthood, I'm due for several of my own.
[It's a roundabout way of showing camaraderie and solidarity. After all, this sounds a lot like some ridiculous crap that would happen to her.]
You'll be back in action before you know it. It is Autumn, after all. There's too much on the agenda to stay down for long!
