Thank you for dusting me off. I know it's been a while, but Brother really needs me. You and Brother's mun have talked, after all. Besides, it'll be good to see him again. And make sure he's getting enough sleep.

(And a moving bed, and whatever else he needs in the moment. As it turns out, much like common materials in alchemy, brothers are very useful and versatile things.)

How bad can it be in a place called 'Riverview'? It doesn't sound that different from Resembool. (In name only. He hasn't heard of it, personally.)

There's lots of monsters outside Quarantine. And strange people too. Some have been... different, but nice. Others aren't so nice. It's not like home at all.

It sounds a lot like Amestris to me. It must be pretty bad if it's getting to me. You sure you should be going too?

(Others aren't so nice. That's likely Al-speak for how terrible some can be. Ed knows himself well enough to remember what kinds of things would take away his ability to sleep.)

Well, I'm already there. And you're there too. But you don't sleep as well, which I'm going to figure out a way to fix.

It may not be great, but there are people who need our help, Brother. We can't leave until we help them.

(Of course he is. Al's capable, at least, and if there's another version of Ed there, it should be okay. He wanted Al to be someone capable of taking responsibility, not someone who ran when afraid. This was good, even if Ed can't help but worry when he's personally not there. He has to trust his other self, which is another added confusion.)

Yeah... But it's good to see you again so don't do anything stupid that would keep me from not being able to see you again.

[ cheeks puffing out at that, al huffs. doing something stupid... that was more ed's job, when he thought about it. especially with his memories restored, he remembers plenty of times when his brother was reckless and stupid. ]

I wouldn't. I'm not as reckless as you, Brother.
