[Good movie. Mun enjoyed it...and had been toying with the idea of making a Callum muse too. But hasn't bit the bullet yet.]

[This mun hasn't been able to think of anything since and was inspired to pick up the first game, as they haven't played any of them. And really enjoying it.

Thanks! Mun is only up to memory block 3 in the first game directors cut. Still not following the plot but having loads of fun climbing stuff, jumping off of stuff, and riding horses. Honestly she would be happy if that was all the game had to offer.]

AC 1 has a pretty slow moving plot. It takes a bit to get going since Altair gets banished to the "LEARN HOW TO DO YOUR JOB, NOOB" corner.

Meanwhile, Cal is just staring at the mun. What's the point of posting if there isn't voice testing going on? ]

Cal is just sitting there, a sardonic grin on his face. Everyone knew Abstergo Entertainment (a wing of Abstergo) made historic video games. Now he just knows the truth of where that history comes from.

And he might just shove a blade into anyone who makes a game about Aguilar's memories. He's an aggressive person. ]

So question. Does you being you mean that eventually [hand gesturing to imaginary over there somewhere] you turn into Aguliar at some point during the RP experience?

And if so, does that mean you have to learn spanish?

Only a crazy person would do that. Right? [ He's still sure that on some level, he's insane. He lives with conscious bleeding memories of a dead man. He can tell Aguilar's reactions and thoughts on what is happening. The novel makes the Bleeding Effect crazy. ]

"During the RP experience"? [ Great, the girl sees it all as a game. Something fun. Just another person manipulated by Abstergo's continual misuse of information. ]

Maybe I knew Spanish before everything happened. [ The mun totally headcanons him knowing some Spanish now though. ]

Well the thing I was trying to put a fine point on is...if Aguliar has to interact with anyone here, are they going to have to know Spanish to say anything back? [Her flicking through apps on her phone to try and find the translator app. That might come in handy.]

I think she'd be encouraged by anything from the other Assassins. It doesn't take much to get her wound up about it.

[ although at least he isn't alone in his craziness. there are five other assassins in this headspace. it's always a party. ]

Aguilar's dead. He's been dead for five hundred years.

[ He gets what she is getting at though. If he lets himself get too carried away with the memories? If he doesn't hold onto something that's Callum Lynch, and slips too much into Aguilar? He supposes he'd become his ancestor on some degree. But, given the people in the Infinity Room? He'd just become a vegetable as opposed to someone being able to talk to his ancestor through him. ]

It'd make things interesting. Wouldn't it?

[Who knows what her ancestors were up to around then?]

Si, señor. [Yes, she is a bit of a smart aleck. And that's pretty much the end of her Spanish knowledge.]

The "hundred" part of it makes that obvious.

[ God, she's a lot like a normal teenager isn't she? Cal supposes that's a good thing. There needs to be less darkness in the world. People shouldn't suffer like the Assassins do.

Her smartass comment makes him chuckle though. Laughter is a rare thing. ]

[She grins back, glad to have finally gotten him to laugh about something. He did seem like the too serious type that needed a good chuckle. Otherwise, he might just explode from the seriousness.]

I'll bet people would pay good money to get a crack at that Animus gadget. Y'know...after they fix it.

We invent our own "toys." We rarely have the funds that the Templars do.
