I've been human once, didn't like it. Don't want to repeat it. But it's better than being an amoeba.

Amoebas doesn't have brains or any concept of self. No they don't know if they're lonely or not.

That sounds really dull... Making friends is definitely a good idea.

Depends on what's being exploded. [A sudden explosion rustles the corridor harshly and debris rains downs around them.] Now that's a explosion caused by sudden compression.

[Luckily the explosion is several sectors away from them. He grunts as she grabs his shirt but he does teleport them away...

If you can do all this, why don't you do something cool with it? Want to be destructive, then create something destructive. Man this was not the day I expected...
