You won't hurt anyone just by having sex with them. As long as you keep your head clear, you'll be fine. It's better than dying of starvation.

Then you learn from the consequences and try to move on. You could always bring things to help you stay focused though. A bucket of cold water seems to help some Humans.

That seems to be what my mundane has decided for me.

[There's mirth in his gold eyes at Michael's confirmation, painted lips drawing tight in an effort to restrain himself from laughing outright.]

Though the Arcangel with whom I am acquainted thou art not, the irony, nevertheless, is both hilarious and all too sweet.

[He minds, but... He gets it. He's supposed to be an archangel after all. But here he is, reduced to an incubus.]

[So he does. The cold, cruel laugh of one who's witnessed his greatest enemy dragged down and humiliated, stripped of everything that made him what he was. Even if Mephistopheles himself had gone through something similar so long ago, he feels no empathy for Michael.]

[Michael just sighs.]

Dost thou truly believe that, or art thou simply attempting to convince thyself in hopes that it might be true? He cares far less than thou thinkest, if... this- [He gestures vaguely at Michael's entire form.] was allowed at all.

[Michael stands his ground. He is not scared. He may be just an incubus, but his angelic personality remains and there is very little that scares him.]

Besides... This is a lot better than being an angel infected by corruption. Which was the original idea. So God is on my side.

['An angel infected by corruption.' The Mephistopheles curls a lip in distaste, almost as if Michael's statement had been a jab at the devil rather than himself. Though anger bubbles up in his throat, he allows his wings to drop slightly.]

The lengths to which both man and angel will go to believe He is always in the right... Even "perfect" beings make mistakes.

Of course. Making mistakes is normal.

But I believe in the best in Him, and that He would never push me to far. If it's a trial, I will overcome it.

[The corner of the devil's mouth twitches slightly, a shadow of a grin hiding behind it. That sort of blind faith sickens him, especially from one who, by the nature of his predicament, will have fallen out of His sight.

But at the same time...

Mephistopheles reaches out a pale hand adorned with long, dangerously sharp nails, stopping only when they brush the angel-turned-incubus's cheek in what could be mistaken as the caress of a lover if it didn't come from a devil.]

But an incubus--a demon bound by desire and lust--once you taste sin, will you even want to return to a sterile existence?

Couldst thou even die like that? Or wouldst thou simply starve until it drove thee mad? Would it not be kinder to simply sup in small amounts rather than for thy hunger to build and build until thou attack someone?

If not, I'll simply have to find a way to incapacitate myself so I can't attack anyone.
