So, here we are...
[There's this unsettling smile on Michael's face. It's making the mundane uncomfortable.]
This was your idea of course... I'd say I quite like it. It's freeing.
[He laughs, though it's hardly a pleasant laugh. It's this unpleasant, almost insane chuckling.] Oh, you don't want me to do too much damage? Pity. I'd so like to corrupt everything I touch.
[Michael smiles again.] The world's more fun that way.

Kurt's brows knit together, nose wrinkling in confusion and one hand lifting to cup around the back of his neck. Corrupt? No, this can't be--]
... Michael?
no subject
Sorry, this is not the Michael you know, Kurt.]
And what manner of creature are you?
[He comes in close and his hand shoots out to grab the other's chin, tilting his head first to one side then the other.]
Some sort of demon?
no subject
It most definitely is not and he's suddenly regretting his decision to approach him.]
Nein, I-- [He cuts off at the grasp to his face, teeth baring and his eyes wincing shut. The hand at his neck moves, reaching to take hold of Michael's wrist as his head is forced to turn.]
I'm a mutant!
no subject
[Michael looks interested, and he lets go of Kurt's chin, easily pulling his hand free of the mutant's grasp. It's probably a good thing that he's more interested in the conversation than certain other things right now.]
So you're a mutation... [He tilts his head.] Of what?
[...] Surely not of humans.
no subject
Of humans, ja.
[He's not sure why he's going to explain this - it isn't the Michael that he knows, but since he'd asked ...]
Mutants are considered 'human' until the X-gene draws out their abilities later on in life. [Lucky him, he was born with his mutation.]
no subject
[And Michael goes right back to circling him.]
Poor thing... [His voice lowers as he smiles that unpleasant smile.] So many that see you must think you're a demon...
no subject
[Kurt can't help but echo the word in a questioning manner; what exactly was this Michael wondering and why did he keep circling like a vulture?
His entire frame goes rigid at that word, eyes narrowing in irritation.] But I am not a demon.
no subject
Would you like to be?
no subject
Absolutely not!
no subject
[The smile remains. He doesn't approach, at least, but... He's definitely giving off a threatening aura.]
It's fun.
no subject
[And Kurt doesn't need to be a telepath to know that this is a rather dangerous situation he's in, but he can't help the question--]
Why?
no subject
[A chuckle.] Anything at all.
[A shrug.] You won't even feel bad about things you do that some would call "wrong".
[A dark aura gathers at his hands, and he moves forward, reaching those hands out for the other.] Let me show you...

Thankfully, he didn't flee, since he didn't want to leave Michael in a state like this, but..he stayed in his astral form, just to be safe, and it looked like a cloud had just come over his face.
Hopefully he'd be able to live up to his username.]Michael, have you even been to the Darkness yet? It's not a comfortable place for most people.
[Sure, the Demons there were more than happy to serve him tea and cake, but he was the exception, not the rule.]
What happened to you though? Who or what corrupted you like this?
[Because he'd like to deal with them after this nonsense.]
no subject
The idea is far more intriguing than Kurt likes to admit, but no, he can't. Hurting people, decimating things, destroying everything he's worked for?
Not worth it.] Have you no conscience?
[He stumbles backward away from Michael's hands, pivoting on the ball of his foot as if he's going to run, though as he takes his first step, he disappears with a BAMF, a swirl of midnight colored smoke replacing where he'd been standing.
Of course, he hasn't completely taken off yet - more like retreated to the ceiling where he's hanging upside-down, his tail curled in case the other tries to reach for it.]

Thankfully, it didn't sound like this was how he normally was, if he'd been corrupted somehow by the orders of his Mundane. The next thing to figure out was how to purify him by herself, since she wasn't a holy being or a person with the powers of purification, and she didn't know whether just singing holy songs or reciting from holy texts would help or make things worse.]
I don't know why your Mundane wanted this to happen, but..I don't think the world would be more fun if everyone was corrupted like you. It'd be a pretty terrifying place to live. I don't even think Poe or Lovecraft would be able to handle that. I certainly couldn't.
no subject
What manner of AU is it where you think corruption is fun, after what you've seen it do to people?
