Looking for a game and some ANARCHY. Down for anything!
Al-alright, I admit it-- okay? So I screwed up.
Gahggh, I still don't like talking about it.
Things were going good, If I had known he was going to go psycho-killer on me, I wouldn't have done it.
Just got caught up.
Gahggh, I still don't like talking about it.

Hey, it worked before.
And kept working, all the way up until--nn, it didn't.
...
You're telling me if you didn't have that kind of edge, you wouldn't take advantage of it. Yeah. Psfffbt. Okay.
no subject
Not if it's Jack. D'you even know about the kinda crap he put us through on Pandora?
Look, we've gone through this already, so I'm not looking for a fight. [ As difficult as that may be to believe ] I just... really wish you'd told us.
no subject
It's just-- would you have really believed me? Really?
no subject
You were acting really weird. Like when you fell off that railing for no reason and smashed your head at the underground base-- and how you knew exactly where the beacon was? Something was definitely up.
Dunno how happy I would've been if I knew, either, but... [ The unspoken: better than being blindsided at such a crucial moment. ]
no subject
[He sounds a little more anxious. He covers it up with one of those trademark laughs.]
I just wanna know.
no subject
Yeah. I think so. [ She can't think of any reason she'd think he was lying about something like that, especially since hearing his side of the story explained... basically everything she'd still been wondering about.
Plus, it'd have been a hell of a confession. She adjusts her bangs, gauging his response ]
no subject
[He nods.]
Okhay...
...Okay.
Hey, okay-- That's-- that's cool. That's good to know.
Because that makes this next part a whole lot easier.
no subject
Next part?
no subject
Well...
[He's walking away-- proprieting a bit of distance between them, as he thinks of a good way to word it.]
...Uh...
no subject
Rhys? [ she asks more firmly this time. ]
no subject
[He raises his arms slightly, hands parallel to each other and perpendicular to the ground, turning to her only after he gains some bearing.]
So, Jack-- [exhale, inhale] isn't... dead.
He didn't die with Helios.
no subject
What? [ she hisses, as this is a very important detail to simply ignore until now- before trying her damnedest to gain her own composure. But before she can cut Rhys some slack, the immediate question: ] Then, where is he?
no subject
[He sounded soft. Just going back to it was pretty rough.]
Or-- that's what he said.
He got right back into my head when I wasn't looking, started telling me all about how he was going to kill me when I least expected it to make me a part of his army of Jacks.... I... trusted him, and he wanted to skin me.
[The last part rang with disgust.]
I was the one who ripped out the cybernetics, okay? I ripped off my arm, just so I could get away from him. Ripped my eye out so I didn't have to deal with it anymore.
I figure I'd be over and done with. Rip out the stuff and he'd be gone with it.
[But he hasn't quite reached the punchline. Not with how he's suddenly quiet.]

It was easy to be disgusted, or to admit she never would have trusted Handsome Jack. But she'd never been turned on so terribly by anyone she considered an idol- aside from Felix, and even then, he'd come through for Sasha. Jack was purely rotten- genocidal and cruel to anyone who didn't unquestioningly obey him.
Fiona clutched her shoulder, feeling a ghost ache lingering there at the mention of Rhys ripping off his own arm. Watching him with furrowed brows and pursed lips, she felt a wave of concern. ]
Then what? [ Jack was nowhere. But he wasn't dead, either. ]
no subject
[There it was again. That enigmatic sense of urgency in his voice. Nothing notable to a person who would have just met him, but they've been through quite some things.]
I think up these...things, and it just doesn't feel like it's mine.
no subject
You did share your head with a psychopath. [ she responds, eyeballing his new head-port. ] What kinda thoughts are you getting?
no subject
Got nothing now. But sometimes I just get urges-- to kind of--
[He tries to translate what he's feeling into a metaphorical ball that he's making with his hands.]
I don't know. Get mad. I've never acted on any of it, but I figure it just needs a little distraction. Nothing a good... old... reunion with the gang can't fix! You know, movie night, shopping sprees, monster hunting... [Okay, that's sarcasm.] I'm great with Karaoke.
Except... Vaughn's busy doing his own thing now, I'm not going to rain on his big break like this. So I figured...
no subject
Although she does snort ungracefully at the thought of Rhys trying to hunt a skag. Some things might never change. ]
The rest of us? [ her tone is amused ] I'm not sure I wanna to spend an entire night watching you trying to flirt with my sister.
no subject
[But that bout of confidence turns to a comical, low-monotone suspicion.]
She still... 'fancies' me, right?
[No no, that's still confidence.]
no subject
I've got no idea why, [ she teases with a deadpan tone. ] But, eh. Better than her dating August, at least.
no subject
[BETTER THAN HER DATING AUGUST? REALLY?]
You're telling the truth, sure-- but it's not like it's a competition. I mean, I've got no reason to be... worried. About him.
...
no subject
[ Fiona does honestly more or less approve of Rhys, so long as he hasn't got anymore Jack secrets up his sleeves. After all, Sasha also has much more fighting experience. Rhys is essentially a glorified noodle. It all works out. ] If you actually take her out any time soon, no, you don't have to worry.
[ Pointedly, as this has not happened yet. ]
no subject
[He nods, the laugh sarcastic, but somewhere along the way it melted into genuine amusement. C'mon.]
I just want it to be perfect.
Still getting used to these... Pandoran delicacies you've got.
[Ew.]
no subject
Don't tell me you've been living off of Drakefruit this entire time. [ It would explain why he consistently looks like a bean pole about to teeter over, though. ]
no subject
[He crossed his arms, laughing and shaking his head.]
It wasn't great, but the coffee did have a kick.
You have coffee shops down here?
