Whatever do you think you're doing?

...I suppose it's a more productive way to deal with boredom than shooting the wall.

I don't know if I feel more sorry for you having to share space with mine, or me having to share space with yours.
mysterywriter: (give me your hand)

[personal profile] mysterywriter 2016-05-29 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
Well, the one that's supposed to be yours, from what I can figure.

[Not that Alice hasn't been trying to quietly stalk after him, keep tabs on him, and generally figure out what he's up to, because it's Sherlock freaking Holmes, who is pretty much Alice's favorite person to read about. After Himura. Obviously.

He motions a bit.]

Mine's uh. ... you'll probably be prepared.

[Their detectives have way too much in common, from what Alice has noticed.]
mysterywriter: (just wanna be yours)

[personal profile] mysterywriter 2016-05-29 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
[Somehow, Sherlock hasn't resorted to using Alice as an assistant of any kind, but Alice also figures that's because Sherlock is in denial about being active and needing anyone. ... besides, it's not like either of them could measure up to each other's....

Alice coughs lightly and then looks like he might start laughing.]

Maybe he keeps thinking you're me.

[Since. You know. Himura's called him Watson a couple times...]
mysterywriter: (listen to my heartbeat)

Aura?

[Alice figures with their writer powers combined, they can come up with something less creepy than Moroboshi's penchant for noting how people smell.

And as soon as John says his name, Alice is practically bouncing.]

I know! [Okay, that's not ... fanboy stalker crazy level right there, he'll tone it back a little.] Alice Arisugawa. Nice to meet you.

[He gives a small two-fingered salute with one hand.]

The wall had it coming.
shootthewall: (cold and calculating)

[personal profile] shootthewall 2016-05-29 10:12 am (UTC)(link)
[Quite a juxtaposition, irritated and smiling.]

The bullet holes are barely noticeable.
shootthewall: (sherlock and watson)

[personal profile] shootthewall 2016-05-29 10:28 am (UTC)(link)
[He's dismissive about that plan.]

I doubt that would do much good against bullets. Not to worry, I only fire at the wall we don't need.
dadstrade: (Not my division.)

[personal profile] dadstrade 2016-05-29 01:07 pm (UTC)(link)
At least yours hasn't tried to have you murdered yet, right?

[ Or is that just a thing they do? ]

The wall's moved on. Why can't you?
mysterywriter: (you are shining so brightly)

[personal profile] mysterywriter 2016-05-29 08:43 pm (UTC)(link)
[That's all right, Alice is too excited to meet his... spiritual mirror, more or less, that any sort of introduction would be fine with him. Even however it goes whenever Sherlock decides to speak to him shouldn't be too bad.]

Anyway, the guy upstairs seems to think I need to talk to you more. I'll try to set something up for later.

[He has a vague idea on what all this is about...]
dadstrade: (Sherlock you're a dick.)

[personal profile] dadstrade 2016-05-29 09:49 pm (UTC)(link)
No, it's for one of those 'games,' as they call them around here. [ Lestrade would not recommend them, in case you were considering. It feels like this should be some kind of sick record, plotting to have him killed less than two weeks into... whatever this is. ] Does the name Moriary mean anything to you yet?
dadstrade: (Yeah but...)

[personal profile] dadstrade 2016-05-29 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Well, technically speaking, Sherlock would be the reason he's about to die, but actually blaming him would be pretty unfair. Hence why Lestrade is not planning to tell him about it, though he doesn't exactly expect it to be any kind of secret. Hiding anything from Sherlock is an exercise in futility, but he is going to try. ]

As it turns out, he's a petty bastard. [ No big shock there. ] Game over for him means game over for everyone.

If it's creativity you're after, there's plenty more where that came from.
