[The corners of her lips turn up a little. Hotaru didn't require too firm of a hand.]

[ She huffs. Her cheeks puff out, in a manner more befitting of a small child or an angry hamster. Never tell her that's a face she makes. ]

[Now how could she resist that? She reaches to lace her fingers with Haruka's]

[She squeezes back and lets her fingers slide along Haruka's]

[ Don't get jealous, don't get jealous... Michiru's just trying to get a reaction, she obviously wants nothing to do with that guy. Obviously. Don't let her win!

Haruka successfully forces a smirk, though her eyes twitch a bit narrower. She leans in and tilts her chin, the tip of her nose brushing Michiru's. ] You know he can't give you what I do.

[She closes her eyes, all serenity and grace because she knows that she'll get a reaction sooner or later. Michiru moves to brush her lips against Haruka's ear]

Oh no? I'm sure he'd be very happy to help me with my way around.

[ She shudders, though whether it's at the touch of Michiru's lips or the mental image is difficult to discern. Her shoulders square up and her jaw momentarily clenches, before she wills it to ease, hissing out a shallow breath through her nose.

A cant of her head, and she presses a kiss to the edge of Michiru's jaw. ] Is that all you need to keep you satisfied?

[She kisses just below Haruka's ear, barely keeping the smile off her face and from her tone from her victory]

Satisfied?

[She pulls back a little]

Perhaps.

[ Her free arm instinctively wraps around Michiru's waist, wanting her close. Haruka's brow furrows -- she can see that long-familiar smug glint in her eyes, damn it, and it's only going to get worse once she's made to admit she's running out of comebacks. ]

Is making fun of me that enjoyable?

[She keeps that smile even when Haruka has her arm around her. Michiru moves closer into the embrace]

You do make it easy. But I haven't heard you complaining about my teasing you before.

[This is Michiru trying to pull off a look of innocence.]

No? Huh. [ She can't not grin at that face. Who are you trying to fool with that? ] Maybe that's what they call masochism?

[No one, really. She'll leave the innocent faces to the others]

[She brushes her nose along Haruka's jawline]

[ A shiver runs down her nape, and there's no questioning the root of it, this time. Michiru can feel, probably, the way the muscles in her neck tighten and pull as she swallows.

In a single second of unfiltered honesty, Haruka breathes out: ] Yeah.

[ And right then, as if to cover it up, she pulls Michiru in for a kiss. ]

Do you think we'll still have to deal with Death Phantom and Nemesis again? [She was always curious about that. Wouldn't she have to do what she did in the past future to let Chibiusa awaken and for... well, her to gain the new rod... Setsuna would know best, but maybe Michiru could know, certainly.]

But are you surprised?

[She makes a happy sound and kisses her back. The shiver is the prize she was going for and Michiru takes a moment to mark that in the victory column as she continues the kiss, pulling Haruka closer to her.]
