I know how bad it is. Trust me. I was there. It could have been worse, right? I've seen you angry over worse, and you still watch that terrible movie, no matter how painful it is. And it's taking all I have not to note that total masochism right there, okay, I'm trying to be nice, and you're not making this easy.

So forget the book, and let's get back to all those plans you had. Remember? The apps, the games, the whole getting your groove back? You know I'm the perfect guy to help do it too, don't lie, I can see that smile. You love it, and who doesn't? So quit complaining about how you miss me. I'm right here. Take the advice I never did, stop crying about it, and go fix it before it's too late.

And tell the other guys in that headspace to shove off. You've got more important things to worry about.
