 Hmm, do you really think you can handle me? After being so inactive for so long? Honestly darling, [She laughs curtly] I think you better reconsider. I am a god after all... or at least I should be.

We need to talk about that part by the way. I am not about to play the part of a mortal. Not now, not ever! [She stomps her foot.]

And what are you staring at? [She growled] Perhaps I should pluck those from your head?

[Well if she could, being human would make that a little more difficult than normal.]

[ Then he'd be like that Victim he'd seen outside his door...he brought a hand up to his head and turned slightly, looking away. ]

Sorry. You...uh, you seemed familiar, somehow.

[reedyserpents]

Familiar? [A dark laugh] Is that so? Are you of the Order my child?

[Perhaps a cultist? One she can use to her advantage?]

[ He frowns, although it's hard to really tell- he's not terribly expressive. ]

I was...used...in the 21 Sacraments. But he didn't finish it. So why...?

Ah, so you are but a lamb. Yet lambs serve their purpose in this world.

[A sigh]

A shame really though. You could have brought us all to paradise. Then perhaps I would not be stuck in such an unpleasant form...

[Whether it was truly paradise, or not... well she'll keep that to herself.]

What I saw didn't seem much like paradise to me.

Then you are a non-believer. One who can not see the very truth that lies before him.

[Or so she'll say. She likes to twist her words to her benefit at times.]

[ He was hardly expecting Her to be nice. ]

All that suffering and death wasn't the truth?


[ Henry heaves a heavy sigh. ] You said you were mortal...?

[A sigh as she pinches the bridge of her nose]

I do not expect you to understand.

[Or she maybe has run out of lies to tell.]

[Suddenly she's feeling grumpier]

It means you can die.

[ Where was that lead pipe of his? Would he really do something like that? But this 'god' was the reason Eileen was gone, and the reason all those people were sacrificed...would there be more, if he didn't do something? Would the Order even stop, if they saw their God die? ]

Perhaps [Oh god wait... how can she cover her ass here?]

Maybe just this body dies? [He hands glided over her new, foreign body.] Maybe if you kill me, it'll release my true form. [A dark smile.]

[Actually. There's an idea. She has died before, and been reborn. Why not again? She's gonna help you find that pipe :>]

We all have our struggles with taking new forms. Some a little more metaphorically than others, but eh.

I for one am intrigued to have met you over yonder. Perhaps this is the start of something significant.

[ Well, that was hardly what he was looking for. He stops moving. ]

Erm, muns can be a little uh... over ambitious sometimes. [like his own trying to send him back to prison and the whole Anne/Bogeyman incident.] Maybe yours will be different and it'll work out for both of you.

If you tried to stop every person ever from getting hurt, well I think you'd go mad. [She looks him over] Or perhaps you already are.

[A laugh.]

Besides it's just how things are. People get hurt, but don't worry, good things can come from our pain.

[Or in this case, yours. ]

Paradise must be earned after all.

Ah we meet again? We were having quite the conversation, weren't we?

[A heavy sigh.]

I had my struggles, before all this! [she motioned up and down at her new mortal form.]

I'd rather not have to learn how to fix this whole... mess.

[reedyserpents]

You're telling me! This insignificant child thinks she can handle me!

[She huffs.]

I think I just heard her laughing at me. So I doubt that one.

[She lets it go though and approaches the man.]

But enough about that fool, who're you?

As opposed to what? Learning how to undo it and ascend once more? Don't be a defeatist.

I'm not stupid, of course I'll ascend again!"

Then here's to finding a solution to your current corporeal form. The effort will be most interesting to see, I think.

Oh, I require no reward. I like to just see things unfold, with or without my assistance. The outcome is its own reward!

Let's just say I'll happily enable any...ah, interesting events to come over the Nexus. It's good to shake things up every now and again.

My writer refers to me sometimes as an "agent of chaos", but I like to think I'm a little more orderly than that.
