So, with all that out of the way, would it be too much to ask that either mom and I have come to terms or she can maybe skip off entirely? Maybe an 18 year around the world cruise? In fact that might just be the best thing, except whew, those poor servers on the ship. She could go through an entire rotation in three months.

Then you go for the throat about failure, clothing choices or coffee consumption.

I wouldn't mind, if things were less... if mom could just be happy for me. I mean I know she'll never be proud, but hey I have this amazing kid that she is proud of so there's that. But it would just be nice to be relaxed around her.
