Anecdotal evidence suggests that the creatures we refer to as "muns" are systematically prone to a metaphorical type of "leaping without looking," resulting in difficulties in our lives, although I cannot speak to any systematic or scientific studies on the matter because I'm not sure such a social science exists and even if it does, I often find myself at a loss when it comes to the social sciences, probably owing in large part to my lack of finesse with social norms and mores and that's a really long story that I don't particularly want to get into right now so I suppose we'll just have to settle for the anecdotal evidence for the time being, won't we?
