The new icons don't look too bad, and the gemstone theme for the keywords isn't exactly a surprise—it's kind of cute, really. But...I'm not entirely sure how I'm supposed to feel about you saying you're going to start looking for a new game for me when you've done almost nothing with me over the past four years except for the occasional musebox thing. I feel like we're going to keep getting nowhere, here.

I know I probably shouldn't be having such low expectations, but it's not like you've given me any reason to expect anything better lately.

It's a bit hard to stay optimistic about him when he keeps saying he's going to do something and then he doesn't do it— [Ouch, Brooke.] —but he does look like he's being serious this time, so maybe this time things will actually work. Knowing what his options are would be a big help, too, for both of us. Him for obvious reasons, and me because if he's going to do something, I'd like to know what sort of situation I'm gonna find myself in.

Well, lazy's one way to put it. He's got this nasty habit of being really picky about the games he looks at anymore, too; he's not really too comfortable with faster pacing, and there are some genres that he's not particularly fond of, so he tries to avoid those. As for what he prefers, it's mostly fantasy-type stuff, but he's willing to take sci-fi too. [That could probably be interpreted as: Warehouse 13 and Cerealia are at least on the table now.]
