Okay, let's get one thing straight. I'm the one in charge here, and I don't have the slightest desire, let alone the time, to participate in one of one of these so-called "games" that you keep going on about. "Let's join a game"- really? The last "game" that I was a part of involved a certain Toyman...Ring a bell? I'd rather not volunteer for round two. Besides, I have leads to chase and Clark's contributions to revise...and your grammar? Well, I've only been in your head for a few hours, but it's...well- let's be honest honey, it could use some work.

Hell, if joining one of these games involves leads worth following up on, I could use a potential front-page headline... I can't break my own rule after all. Yaknow- #3. Not #1, but just as important: "Do whatever it takes to get the story."

Well, considering the fact that Smallville, Kansas is the weird and wonderful capital of the world with Metropolis coming in at a close second, I'm willing to take my chances elsewhere. I'm used to never knowing what to expect, and since my mundane clearly has no idea what she's looking for in a game, I'm sure that this will get interesting.

[She shrugs her shoulders, her lips turning up into a more genuine smile as she momentarily reminisces.]

What can I say- I'm a sucker for a good story. [She pauses, and then chuckles.] I've done much more questionable things chasing leads.
