That...might depend on the individual. Like, my mun's survived on less than eight hours, then being early to rise and late to fall asleep. She admits she's probably getting too old for that but...

As far as the mom thing, I think your mun's just joking, she's calling you "mom" because you're kind of acting like one telling them to go to bed and all.
