On the occasion of one's (mine) film anniversary, tradition states that on your fifteenth, you should be gifted with crystal. Waterford is considered a classic choice; tasteful and elegant. However, if you hold with the modern choices --
(yes, as the list compiled by the librarians at the Chicago Public Library suggests)
-- it would be steel. Clean. Sterile. Sharp. Knives would be acceptable, player.
No knives? Pity. A vintage Rolex Submariner (an icon of Rolex and perhaps even the mother of all modern sports watches. Worn by the likes of Connery, McQueen, Redford and DeNiro) will have to do.
