Dear Mister Mun,

Where's Mommy? I miss her angry-happy face and riding with her on her bike. And I still have to teach her to float face down like a Lotad! She taught me hard human things so I wanna teach her what I know. Oh, oh! Can we get gum for Mom? That always makes her happy. Is Mom at a game? Can I go? I miss her. So if she can't come to me I'll go to her! Maybe I should try flying again... I mean, I know I got stuck that one time, but it's not the same without her. I really wanna be where Mommy is. Riding on other people's heads just isn't the same.

I Have to be honest, I dunno where you would look for a bicycle. I haven't ridden one in so long. I bet it would be so fun to ride with Freckles. I bet you would like him, talking lily pad thing!

I dunno either. Mom takes her bicycle everywhere! It's really fun. Oh, and I'm not a lily pad. I'm a Lotad. But I have a human Mommy 'cause my Egg-Mother died and Mommy took me in 'cause she's really nice.

MOMMY! [He leaps up, trying to throw himself into her arms, although he's too tiny and doesn't have the strength to really do so properly.] I looked for you too and I couldn't find you! Did you get lost? Or did I? [Can moms get lost? Things to ponder.]

Thank you, and your mun! And Mommy's here now! [He's so happy he's practically bouncing.]

Um... I think so, yeah. Mommy takes me on rides through the park and there's other people with bikes there.

I hope your mommy is comfortable. You are a very little Froakie and taking your mommy on a ride sounds painful. Unless your mommy is smaller than you.

I hope you have a very good saddle.

Mommy puts me in a seat-thingy on her back. I ride there. It's really pretty. What's a saddle?

Well, my friendly talkative little Crogunk, it is a think you put on horsies and you sit on and then you tell the horsie mush and it'll run around and then throw you off because you probably shouldn't wear big armor while riding a horsey.

[She scoops him up and frowns, peering into his eyes.] How many times do I have to tell you not to wander off?

What kind of trouble have you been getting into?

[And then she softens and hugs him tightly.]

I didn't mean to this time! I dun even know how to get into a mun's head, Mom! [He nuzzles into her warm arms, pressing the side of his lily pad head against her chest. Mom smells warm and like a bike workshop and he's home.] I didn't get into trouble - a couple people helped me try to look for you, though! That was nice. But I missed you sooo much.

[Gogo checks him over for injury, a potion ready in her pocket just in case, but he looks fine. Lucky Lotad. She rubs her cheek against his lily pad.]

I'm glad. You always get stuck in the weirdest places.

I know. But I don't mean to, Mom! It just happens. And now that you're back I can ride with you again where it's safe and we can go for a ride in the park where all the Wingull live!

[She slides her bag off her back and crouches down, setting him on the ground so she can open it.]

The park sounds like a good idea. There are berries out there I need to collect anyway.

[Have a poketreat while she switches her bag to its carrying form.]

Yaaaay! I like seeing the Wingull there. I wanna fly one day, too! [He waddles over to the treats, carefully taking a couple into his mouth and making contented squeaking noises as he chews.]

Well, one day I'll catch the right pokemon and we'll be able to fly.

I rode on a guy's head here for a bit when I was looking for you, but it wasn't a lot like flying. I think he was scared of dropping me...

Well, if he was in any way ungraceful...

He probably doesn't know anything about pokemon. [What a loser. 8I ]

His world doesn't have Pokemon at all! Isn't that weird? But he tried really hard to help! I like that. I wanna help people too, when I get older and evolve. I kinda want to have arms. Writing with nubs is hard...

Well then, we'll have to get back to training. Dr. Hamada adjusted your diet plan too, so after the park I need to run to the mart.

Yeah! I missed training with you. Oh! Does this mean I can't have peanut butter honey sandwiches anymore?! But I love them!

No, don't worry. We're not taking anything away. Just adding a new protein. It'll help you grow.

Okay, Mommy. You're so smart! What's the new food I get to try? Is it... um, what has protein? Coconuts, maybe?
