Binging webcomics does some strange things | Canon: Awful Hospital
Look, its not that I'm not grateful being out of the Hospital. Really. Not to mention being away from the voices, that's nice too.
But uh.
I'd, uh... rather be home. With my son. Can we have something like that arranged?
[You can't help but doubt that's not going to happen. After all, recent events have made your life a very unlucky one.]
...At least let's keep things happy?

hello i just screamed a little
Green.
[Is it normal for people to be this green?? Then again, one of the Gems is purple, so...]
screams make great rave sounds keep at it
I'm what?!
[You immediately checks your hands and legs. Nope, still the same color you've always been. Not a splotch if green on you. If this guy is seeing stuff, maybe he wasn't as normal as you were hoping. Wouldn't that be just your luck.]
BWABWABWABWAwait that's not a rave sound
[Yes, Sour Cream, that's a nice way to phrase it. A for effort.
Maybe he'll just... pull out a green glowstick, snap and shake it - and then put it near her arm.]
See? Greeeen. Really green.
Sure it is, just add air horns it'll work great
Kay, I think I'd know if I was green.
no subject
[That's donkey's ears, as in years.]
no subject
Its never that easy, is it? Can't just... pop over and see his face, even for a second.
no subject
[Not that the's exactly little, being a very large man. Still, he breaks out a sincere reassuring smile. Mothers minus their children get handled nicely and barely even flirted with, that's the rule.]
On the other hand, we do pop back and forth, so long as things are progressing wherever we came from. Though judging from your comments... that's not really the best news, huh?
no subject
It's... pretty stressful back there, yeah.
no subject
They're actually hand rolled and filled with Pisalikkot, the mystical flower of blood revival and an ingredient in resurrecting the dead. He's a weird guy, but they've just as good for stress.]
Want to talk about it?
no subject
That'd probably be nice. Its kind of a long story though.

[He takes one for himself before snapping the case shut and replacing it with a lighter. He's not exactly a gentleman, but still. Ladies first. The smoke is a light pink colour and smells a bit copper, less abrasive than tobacco. The magic flower its made out of isn't meant to be smoked, but it works! Refreshes, gets the heart rate up a bit, replaces lost blood,.
His is second to be lit.]
I figure this whole experience wouldn't be near half as bad if we all took the time to help each other out a bit more.
no subject
Well, thanks. I really appreciate it.
no subject
[His heart isn't really in it, but it's habit. Not that she's not cute (everyone is cute to Feda), but. Time and place. For funsies, he blows a smoke ring, then shoots a stream through it.]
Feda Gandamak, professional adventurer, part time father.
[He bows, fist on his chest. Good thing his hairstyle is already 'chaotic mess' so when it rearranges from that, it looks just as good.]
no subject
You suspect they don't actually know what heads are.
Nonetheless, he gets a smile.]
Nice to meet you. I'm Ms. Green. Uh, mother of one.
no subject
'Happiness' is a relative thing of course
After looking it up, I couldn't resist (You're awesome btw)
no subject
[Talking pony. Alright then. You've seen worse.]
...sure? I mean, if you say so.
hahaa Thanks! This is PRETTY DARN NEAT too
You reluctantly force up a smile and politely wave back.]
no subject
Oh man, one. I remember when I had one! I thought I used up all my love on one, but then along came two and suddenly I had twice as much.
[Repeat that 15 more times...]
There just ain't anything better than kids. In the universe or beyond.
no subject
I don't think I'm ready for more than one yet. He's not even old enough for me to start job hunting again.
[Your smile wavers a little.]
I hope he's safe...
no subject
You know what? I bet he's thinkin' the same thing about you, even if he don't know the words for it yet. I'm a quick judge of character, so I'm gonna go ahead and say if he's half as tough as his mum here, he's doing just fine.
[And a reassuring hand on her shoulder, if he can get away with it.]
no subject
Thanks. I hope so...
I was, uh. Looking for him. Where I was.
no subject
[Because he is a HARD MAN, Feda snuffs out his cigarette between finger and thumb, before flicking it far off into the distance, using the activity as an excuse to think.]
I'm also guessing it ain't an ordinary scenario either, not that I'd know normal if it bit me in the bum.
[I mean, he doesn't even wear a shirt. Speaking of shirts and bums-]
Are you okay in just that gown, by the way? You can borrow my coat if you like.
no subject
It'd, uh, be a nice change of pace for a while. I've just been in the gown for a while.
no subject
[He removes his coat as he speaks and casually drapes it over her shoulders. As he's a pretty huge dude, it's not exactly a good fit but hey. It's warm and has a bitchin' fur collar.
The pockets are full of all sorts of weird stuff though.]
I got off light, really. [He tugs at his hair, before pointing to his eyes. White and softly glowing red respectively.] So anyway, you could say I've some experience at least.
