On voice testing, severe procrastination, and much-needed motivation

Now then, I understand this paper of yours has had you stumped for a long time. And now your spring break has come to an end. You've been told-- and I know you understand-- that you're very quickly running out of time.

While you may be writing on an academic subject, there's no need to view it with such reluctance. I know you're good at taking things from different angles, so consider this. View it as character research. Pretend you are "roleplaying" as the figure you're supposed to be covering, but you need to become more familiar with her. At this point in time, you're better off doing research on her rather than myself.

[sigh] I know you would rather run off home, squirrel away with your laptop and DS for roleplaying and to take another shot at your Nuzlocke challenge (which frankly, I find rather disturbing that you're even attempting such a thing). However, as you've been told time and time again, you are incredibly close to graduating. Two months from today, in fact! You've come too far to sabotage your future.

The road may seem long, difficult, and frightening now, but look back on the years you've fought through university to get this far. You remember with perfect clarity how you almost didn't make it this far. Take it from a fellow writer, you can overcome your writer's block and you will succeed.

Now get to it, and you can come challenge me in your non-Nuzlocke game when you return home.
